The forum it's posted in should give you a clue, but that's the only hint you'll get to start with. Another hint is that, as keen eyes may have noticed, it isn't entirely symmetrical. This relates to its function. An anagram of SAD ANDY SPLIT will also get you most of the way to the answer. Quote

But I can't tell if it's for something that already has a stand or not. Honestly most things benefit from a display stand. hmmm. All I can think of is either a B-Wing or old school Slave I fitting in there. Because those are the only ships that look the best when displayed upright/. Quote
