AgentRick Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 OH no! What'll happen to our poor friend!? Quote
Doctor Sinister Posted February 7, 2008 Author Posted February 7, 2008 Quite tricky to freeze LEGO you know - it floats. I needed to build a special contraption out of Technic beams to keep the "freezing chamber" below the water level. Dr. S. Quote
Matn Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 I read every Grunts comic and they are all fantastic! I think you should contact BrickJournal so they could place your funny comics in their issues. O, very nice how you put the fig in ice. It calls for a tutorial: "how to put your LEGO in ice!" ,then we could make a real Han Solo who is captered in a icy-looking thing. Quote

Batbrick Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 :-D, love that ice joke, I tried freezing minifigs before, I know its hard. Great work, I love the rants from officers in these. I can do that! I've got some "behind the scenes" photos ready to go!Dr. S. I really think you should do a "Behind-The-Scenes" special. Show us the sets and how you make them, that would be great. Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote
General Kannon Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 Is it real ice Dr? By the way the last couple of Grunts, including this one have been awestasmic. Quote
Doctor Sinister Posted February 7, 2008 Author Posted February 7, 2008 I've posted some pix of how I did the freezing here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/doctorsiniste...57603867011518/ Dr. S. Quote
Inertia Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 Now, with this knowledge, us space builders can make Cyrogenic freezing chambers! I shall try to include it in my next MOC. Anyway, the comic is really funny! Quote

Siegfried Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 :-D Ahh, this takes me back! I love the frozen min-fig. Perhaps I use frozen Mini-figs in my bourbon instead of the Lego ice I use now. X-D Quote

zero1312 Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 I wonder how many grunts will be sent out be the sarge before he realizes that it's not a good idea? :-D :-D Quote
