If I recall correctly that should be 28432pb02 from the Lego Batman movie sets.

Thanks for that. I will look into getting one.

I can also say that the pony tail on 92257 doesn't fit with the armor in my experience though I have yet to try it with the new armor but I imagine it would have a similar result.

I tried with a similar hair piece and that didn't seem to fit the new armour. Foolishly I ordered two without checking first, but one of them will go on an "armour-less Year 1 Macy" that I already have on display, so they won't go to waste.

It looks good. Do you know the part number off hand, as I might like to get one. I'm waiting on a "92257" to arrive, but the pony tail may not sit well with the armour, so what you've used may work better.

I also replaced the Nexo Armor with Chima Armor as it's less space consuming

Well, we received the latest shop catalog. I don't know if it is linked with Nexo Knight's cancellation, but for the first sime in years, I totally lack excitement...

Yeah? Where's the catalog? Do you have a link?

No. It's a mail sent catalog, with selection of current sets, and with the price. Sent by the Shop, I think (or as a "Lego Life Magazine" add-on?)

Next magazine (November 2018) in Netherlands has an "official" macy with hairpiece:

GYaFcN3.jpg

Looks like it's the  Minifig Hair Ponytail Long with Side Bangs part.

And that explains the reason why no armor as it won't fit.

I think 2 more issues after this one as they call the next comic "the big final fight (first half)" roughly translated. So November, and December.

Also the magazines contain a poster with about scannable 78 nexo powers for september, 71 next issue (including forbidden powers).

I know the powers are all over the internet by now, but it's nice to see Lego release this as a final thing.

I don't have a good scanner, so taking pictures and uploading those would be just too much work, and also not be of very high quality in comparison.

Also don't wanna run into copyright issues uploading 120 pages.

Looks like I guessed right with that hairpiece!  Now if only we had something for Aaron...

I am so excited for macy again in Magazine. My Red Dragoness army is GROWING <3

I really liked magazine weapon builds. And Macy MEGAMACE is one of the coolest.

Oh: And Macy looks best in Barbara Gordon hair.

And Aaron hairpiece is only available in Keyring for some reason:

So, there's a theory going around that some of the builds from next year's Spider-Man sets might have been recoloured versions of the cancelled NK summer wave. Personally, I can see that. There is a giant mechanical spider. And several of Spidey's new toys shoot the same 'tech spider' part as the Virus Vampires. Thoughts?

Doesn't seem particularly likely to me. A mechanical spider is a pretty suitable subject for a spider-themed hero, and the reuse of a suitable recently introduced part is more common sense than anything else.

It's not unheard of for designers to reuse unused concepts from earlier themes. But I've seen nothing to suggest that there ever WAS a summer wave for this year that got "cancelled" (versus never getting approved for a sixth wave in the first place). And considering we don't even know if any of the designers for the new Spider-Man sets even worked on Nexo Knights I think it's far too early to jump to that conclusion.

It's been discussed thoroughly that there's a lot absent from this year's wave that should have been released. One of the Merlok Powers, an updated version of Ava, a Virus Vampire variant of Ruina, Monstrox in human form, a vehicle for Macy, a general for the Vampires. Probably more that I can't think of right now.

It's definitely possible. Lego has recycled designs before and, as you've said, we ended up missing out on a lot of key figures and vehicles that a summer 2018 wave would have covered. The giant spider certainly looks like a recolored Nexo Knights set. I'm not really familiar with the Spider Man extended universe, but the resemblance is striking. What I really want to know is, if there truly was a summer wave, why did it get cancelled?

It was me. I said the Nexo Knights designs might have been reworked into Superheroes sets.

But I meant mostly the Batman mech... Looks very Nexo Knight-y to me. Also, while the spider mech is suspicious, the viruses didn't have animal themed vehicles, so I don't think so....

But you have to admit Spiderman getting all this mechs out of nowhere is quite suspicious, especially considering the most well-known version of the character is a college student with financial struggles living in his aunt's house

There is another Batman Mech? Cause I'm pretty sure the one from Gorrila Grodd came before Nexo Knights.

off topic, but the spider-man included in the spidey vs venom set is actually the parker industries spider armor mk. 4, one of the most recent designs that was made by peter in his adult life while he was head of parker industries, which was a huge tech company in the comics for a while. during that time he actually did have a few vehicles, including a blade runner-esque car that transformed into a spider themed mecha. it didnt look like the one in the sets, but still, theres justification.

on nexo knights, i disagree about the "reuse of canned sets" thing, but i do agree that they probably planned one more wave, considering all that was missing. did anything show up in the app that wasnt in any sets?

"Should have" is subjective.  They could have done a few of these things, but they weren't imperatives.

Yeah, it's not unorthodox for supporting characters (especially female supporting characters…) to go missing in a theme's planned final wave. Consider how the 2013 Ninjago "The Final Battle" sets didn't include any version of Nya whatsoever, or how the 2008 Exo-Force "Deep Jungle" sets didn't include Hitomi. If this WAS the intended final wave, then size/budget constraints alone would have required the designers to be selective about what characters made an appearance.

Forest and Water monsters were possibly planned, instead of the Rock Monsters and Virus Vampires. Overall I think it would have kept the theme more Fantasy like and varied.

Characters were worked out and have names and artwork, some would need more specialized pieces over others (especially the Tree monsters, and the huge Sea monster too).

The minifig versions of the Forest and Water monsters would have been nice to have, even if it were just minifig packs.

Printed (books/magazines) and digital media showed things that never made it into Toy form.

Stone Scurriers were possibly changed to Bricksters, and most stone Globlins (at least the disc versions) became Bouldrons.

Overall I still like the theme,

Season 5 of the TV show never was released (Canceled?), so I do hope the comic at least has a proper ending within the next 2 magazines.
