There's an online chat program named Discord. You can make your own chatroom about different topics. I found this Lego themed one, and it's fairly empty. I hope to ad some users.

There is a rule against advertising and it is pretty straight forward. Eurobricks would be much better than discord for connecting with the Lego community though, so please explore the site.
