[MOC] The New Shogunate

The last samurai of the old rule is challenged by the warrior of The New Shogunate.

 

This was built for a Finnish LUG contest with the theme "The new meets the old". I had wanted to build a samurai for some time now so this seemed like a good idea. The whole scene became a lot larger than I had intended - these are 30 cm (one foot) thall figures, so the environment needs to be big...

I love this entire MOC. I love how the bridge is so simple but looks so good. The scale to this things is probably my favourite part and that makes you able to add the smallest details. Overall 10/10. Great work :)

Wow! This is great! The base alone is a work of art but these characters (as always) are so expressive and nicely detailed. Bravo!

Thanks everyone, glad you like this! It took plenty of time, and some engineering work to get the bridge sturdy enough to hold up the figures... But it was worth it, of course.
