zero1312 Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Inspired by Batbrick's red robot, i did a toy robot, too: Quote
Lt. Veers Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Well, it looks like boxy robots are becoming a trend! Great little cute robot, Zero1312. Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Cute! I like the evil face and blocky hands, they look good. I am not a fan of the livery, I prefer bright colourful models, but that's just me! Overall a good job on recreating those cute lil' robots! (Of doom... *skull* ) Quote
Batbrick Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Very nice Zero, thanks for mentioning me :-$ You've done the claws really well, much better than me, and the feet look great too. I'm just not sure about the head, could you try something else? Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote
Brickmaster Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 I am sorry, but boxy is just not my style :-X I like to see techniques to have a smooth, flowing, shapley bot, rather than just a box with appendages :-$ Quote

Lt. Veers Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 I'll try something. ;-) Awww, the head was my favorite part. :'-( Quote

JINZONINGEN73 Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 Lol... it looks like, well, antiquated crap in the first pic... the kind of non-moving junk you'd see in a preschooler with a handful of System bricks. But then picture of him posing kicks all sorts of megablocks. They don't even look like the same model! Nice job! Reminds me of the Gold Lightan figures from Japan. Box one second, robot the next. Quote
Asuka Posted February 10, 2008 Posted February 10, 2008 A very funny and decent work, and it really looks like some kind of cool and comical crab-robot. The head with its pretty red eyes fits perfectly for me too.... *y* :'-) Quote
Batbrick Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 Never mind! I changed my mind! The head is great! :'-) I still love that boxy look too! Boxy mechs ON! Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote
zero1312 Posted February 11, 2008 Author Posted February 11, 2008 (edited) Thanks for the feedback, guys. :'-) To tell the truth, the first robots I built looked pretty much the same, so this is just like old times. And btw, the head won't be changed because the replacements didn't look fitting. ;-) So instead here are some poses: A walk in the park: Everybody does Kung-Fu fighting: What do they mean with "You've got some loose bolts!"?: X-D X-D Edited February 11, 2008 by zero1312 Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 Awesome, very pose-able, I love the kung fu shot!! Quote
Inertia Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 Cool, As some other people mentioned... It has some awesome posability! X-D Quote
zero1312 Posted April 18, 2008 Author Posted April 18, 2008 I think I finally found the perfect head for him: Quote
Grakul Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 That head looks nice, but I think the previous one looked more menacing. Quote

Great work, when posed he has real character.... but I liked the old head better. Quote
