Thanak you Jeroen, linkages are one of the most difficult parts with Lego because only one degree or milimetre makes the diference, maybe they are my favorite part, in fact I have a new improved linkage. The pneumatic pump will be in but I have to find the place and the way for activate it, I think that the best way could be a small pump with a spring for a easy finger up and down system, the nightmare begin with the tubes...

Nice progress, thanks for accepting my suggestion for 2 cylinder engine (despite the fact that it is placed like on Citroen CV2) :thumbup:

One was very little and more than two impossible :laugh: , now playing with the air, I have more room that I thought the manual pump you can see in the video can be put between the wheels and operated from the free side (the other one has the pneumatic switch).

I am starting to think that a pump with crank could be better....

I'll take a look at video on monday due to currently slow Internet access and rebuilding my Unimog to be first of a new breed (all my future models will be in scale 1:17,5).

First I'll check your Brickshelf folder :wink:

Nice idea with shock absorber and dump bed moves very smooth - not like e.g. crane on 8421 (which probably needs Viagra to be up :laugh:), so air games are on manual :wink:

For days I'm trying to make something from one my model - to attach this , but I do not know how to transfer "energy" of pneumatic system into rotation at such small scale (I do not want to implement LPE inside...:laugh:)

Very nice idea, but it seems like you also have some other obligations, hope that horror events in Barcelona :cry3:did not influent you

I've built little, terrorism near or far always is sad, fortunately we are good thank you for your interest. 

I think I will have to use the big blue pump for a perfect performance. In the pics I have the small pump under the panel but doesn´t work as good as I want. I also did changes in the front suspension getting robusted in little space. My optons for the big pump are above the panel along it or between the gasoline tanks removing one as you can see the truck is very small...

IMHO best way is to put blue pump above panel; it is a small truck, but it would be nice at the side of your Challenger tracked tractor (if I recognize it correctly:wink:).

About small models, I have one phylosophy - small is beautiful; so I'm always trying to make model x with specific functionality as small as possible.

It really looks great what you made so far.:thumbup:

Again it is just my point of view - it is better to have small number of proper cylinders than bigger number on some kind of omprovised fake engine...

The challenger had a short life like all of my MOCs :laugh: , I think I know what you say about cylinders but with the room I have, 2 Lego cylinders occupy less even than two axle cylinders. I want a nice, strong and small bed, I have to work with the cabin and the front part. At this moment we have independent front suspension, pendular rear one, steering and pneumatic bed. If I choose the initial option, a normal dumper not a giant one, I would have a bigger central cabin and I could put a steering wheel and the pneumatic switch inside it hiding better the pump at the same time.

Wow, that i so compact and still such good steeringlock and suspension travel, that is just great.

I like the second version better (with the pump between the wheels. The pump nicely out of sight, but still reachable enough to be used

Now I'm nervous for few days to see your video online...what I can currently see you made perfect proportions and model is very stiff. Waiting for video, perhaps I'll make my U423 with pneumatic pump to act like kompressor for Mulag attachment...

It is desired that pneumatics work smoothly so I'll perhaps (miss)use your idea if it would work on my U423.

About short MOC life, I had that philosophy but ended with lot of broken pins and connectors...

I'm really impressed how dump truck evolved. :thumbup:

Thank you I hope to finish well the MOC with the cabin and the front part, I thought I couldn't put in good and strong way the pump in that place but after several tries I did it. The good part is that this is the small dumper we can do if we build smaller ones we will have more room so I can build dumpers forever :laugh: .

You don't need the video, in fact each video I made is getting worse, making videos is not my cup of tea. I am doing instructions and being a small MOC doesn't have many pieces. You are right with the broken parts everyday I build break some of them but they have a lot of MOCs in its life.

About building simethung forever - I have such feeling with Unimog for last two years; hm or I infected with it :laugh:

I agree about video - I also am not someone who sees video as something necessary (probably due to bad equipment), but now first I'll wait to see how Fernando would finish in Spa, and then to build another (short) Unimog chassis

I see very sturdy solution for rear axle - great idea to use two frames :thumbup:

About Alonso; after era of Senna he is the best - won 2 titles with inferrior car (but renault was not so much inferrior as Honda engine today...) but could compensate it with 70 qualifying rounds when refuling was allowed...but back to topic, when instructions will be ready I'll take a look st them. btw yesterday I managed to make short Unimog chassis with differential :wink: and it needs some small theeking...

Almost done but I still have problems with the cabin and where to put the pneumatic switch, I worked very much in reinforce the pneumatic pump now it is hidden and it is solid, maybe would be better with the chassis in yellow?.

I think yellow would be better, but until we can see both versions it is hard to be realistic

I like the dark grey but I don´t have enough pieces for a entire chassis so will be black or yellow. I have done some progress but I think I am losing concept, I reinforze the rear axle but I think it was not necessary, the dumper is symmetric and has a lid that opens to use the pump but makes the center very wide and uses many pieces, I wonder if it would be better the pump uncovered. I got something good at least, the bed is extracted by extracting only three axes.

I think even without the cover it is fine, and more ready to play as you have instant access to the pump. Still like this little fella, the moving steering wheel is great extra touch. :thumbup:

I really like the small scale...beautiful job!! A yellow truck body for construction equipment always looks realistic.
