i need a army of s.o.g gang what is a best set to get a army of them ?

Kai's boat - 1 s.o.g for 20$

Zane's Motorbike - 0 s.o.g for 30$

S.O.G Headquarters - 2 (3) s.o.g for 40$

Lloyd's Car - 0 s.o.g for 40$

Killow's Motorbike - 0 s.o.g for 50$

Temple of Resurrection - 1 s.o.g for 70$

So Headquarters is the best for s.o.g. army builder, but you should just use bricklink.

i think i will get a flew of these it more cheaper then getting another s.o.g hq

You can just change their faces, and you will have nice, cheap s.o.g. army. Also, in third Ninjago magazine issue this year there will be s.o.g. member, so another cheap way.

Picked up Spinjitzu Nya today. My custom display for all my Nya figures is slowly running out of room.

Ha! I know the feeling. I had to double my podium.

After building Killow vs Samurai X set I have to admit I’m dissapointed in sets biggest draw Killow bigfig. Minifigure head on bigfig body looks so disproportionately small it’s ridiculous! The body mold and prints look good, but head really bothers me. Samurai X (Pixal) look really good, as does Jay. Mech is good, but nothing amazing. Killow’s bike Is much bigger than it looks on the box , and looks very very impressive! But the decision to use saw piece instead of front wheel makes it hard to drag the bike around. Overall I like the set, but Killow and his bike aren’t though out very well

I guess they had to make the sacrifice for the sake of enabling him to wear the Oni Mask. Oh well. Personally, the big draw of the set for me is Samurai X and her mech (I deliberately forewent the Samurai VLX last year because I knew a mech in her colour scheme was inevitable), plus the proper Pixal face is an excellent bonus - seriously, since it wasn't officially confirmed last year (no matter how obvious it was) that Samurai X was Pixal, this is actually only the second official Pixal minifigure ever! - and Killow and his bike are more of a bonus, so I don't mind too much.

Also, how does the 'skateboards as roller skates' thing work out?

Pretty well actually. I'm surprised they work so well for bigfig legs.

Wait till you see how it's laid out in the show.

Oh i can´t wait to see it.I used my S.O.G. Headquarters Set to build a MOC of something that looks like an abandoned Subway Station and mostly used Parts and Builds from the Set.

It´s roughly on a Size of 20x20 Studs and i can´t wait to see how close i came to the Original (probably not very close :D)

Share a pic!

I'm currently planning a Ninjago-themed city/land layout that will include a subway. If the S.O.G. headquarters is an abandoned subway station as expected then I'll somehow incorporate an interpretation of that alongside the working train.

Many of the Season 8 LEGO sets are sold out on Amazon and Walmart where the prices were a little lower than retail.

Great news for the brand. Bad news for me in the interim as I still need to pick up the S.O.G. headquarters, Killow set, and Lloyd's new ride.

Is this head really so bad? Well, they did it for Oni Mask

I already got the temple for 45 & Nightcrawler for 22 - compared amazon price in Toys R us, while still using 20% discount on Ninjago sets. And this even though the original prices are amazing for Ninjago sets.

In person, the details on the bikers is even more amazing. I kind of regret not getting the rest of the sets as well - but I can't start a biker collection as well, next to my dragon collection

maybe you could build some kind of helmet around a 1x1 stud, with studs on the sides? The big wheel piece is the only thing keeping me from buying the set - it really destroys the first ever decent big-fig vehicle we got.

Oh i really hope so too.I always liked those Packs, even if they now contain only 3 Minifigs instead of 4.But still better than nothing i guess.

And thanks for mentioning that Juniors Set,guess that´s another one i need to buy.It has a nice Parts Selection (love those printed Parts) and yeah, there´s another neat S.O.G. Goon in it.

Is anybody else a little bit bothered that the less important SOG bikers don't have more varied designs? I have no problem with more generic sorts of villains reusing parts, but I can't help noticing that Nails and the non-Juniors version of Chopper Maroon use the EXACT same pieces aside from their legs (the Juniors set at least makes Chopper Maroon stand out a bit more by giving him a helmet instead of hair and a bandana), and Luke Cunningham and Skip Vicious are identical aside from their visors. In my opinion, it would have been better if the parts were mixed and matched a bit more so that these characters didn't feel so identical — for instance, if two figures have the same face and you don't intend for them to be the same character, don't give them the same hair, neck accessories, and torsos as well!

Mind you, I realize this was a common thing among the ghosts from "Possession", since aside from neck accessories each of the lower-ranking Ghost Warriors and Ghost Ninja but the two in the battle packs had one of three designs. For some reason it didn't bother me so much there… maybe because their designs felt more generic and didn't have traits that seemed as distinctive to an individual as a red mohawk.

I think it worked well with the ghosts. The low-ranks looked like generic warriors in the show too. Their designs sort of flowed better.

You can have a lot more variation with bikers (especially evil ones), though, so this does bother me. In the show there was a female biker with long brown hair, for example

1 s.o.g. member for 20$? That is a really bad idea...
