That’s a good price. I can see them doing a tree like the one in Attack of the Wargs, but shorter.

Yep a hundred pages that could easily be summed up with 2 or 3 paragraphs and a couple of pictures. 

Sounds like the Willow set is going to be a pretty good looking set at that price, has anyone actually seen it yet? Actually looking forward to this one.

About whomping willow, i think there is a small wall of Hogwart with, because it must be connect with the Great Hall. How can we connect it with the set if there is not a wall?

@THELEGOBATMAN just said that’s it’s only supposed to come with the tree and the car. I don’t think there’s any way to include a car, giant tree, and a piece of Hogwarts in a $50 set. I guess we’re just supposed to stick the tree straight onto the Great Hall.

That can't be right, the WW is probably poseble as well, a big three thrashing around the GH with a small car Maybe it is connected to the outside of the great hall by bricks? I can't find the press-release where they mentioned it, so unsure about the correct wording

The Great Hall is around £100 and Grindelwald's Escape is around £20. Regarding the rumoured ones, they only have euros or dollars and I would expect the pound prices to be £5 or £10 out of those

I think that combine isn't the same thing as connect. Connect means that there is a real connection, like pin holes or studs. And combine means like: "Here you go! There is my Great Hall, and next to it stands Whomping Willow. They look really cool next to each other."

I would keep an open mind on this one as this doesn't quite line up with what I'm aware of.

Yeah, that’s true. They could just stand next to each other.

Okay, thanks! I definitely trust your information and I would expect the set to come with some kind of Hogwarts wall to make the connection to the Great Hall easier and make more sense.

Probably a really small one. Just enough so they can say they have it. Probably the Hogwarts tan with maybe a window. Obviously, there will be a sand green tower thing.

Sand green is gone from the castle now. I wouldn't be surprised if it was just a thin wall to connect the two, but I would love a build like the Astronomy Tower from 4842 (just smaller, of course). Time will tell. I hope most of the effort goes into the tree.

Hopefully the WW is revealed soon! If it is with a wall piece that connects via the pinholes it probably has pinholes on both sides, so it is possible to place on both sides of the GH or have other sets connecting to it.. Regardless off if the d2c connects to the normal sets, I am sure future sets will connect to the GH and WW, so they need pinholes on both sides off the builds so people can move the castle pieces around as they like

I have some connections to a Lego employe in Billund. He told me that, sooner or later, there will be about 500 very rare 2x4 Tiles with paintings of Lockhart printed on.

They are randomly distributed in all 2018 Harry Potter Sets.

Seems a bit unrealistic, 2x4 tile and only 500, a “not well-known” character.
