this might be the first CMF that I might buy the full box for and then give away any duplicates i get or sell them on, whichever is easier

There are usually cheaper per fig to buy a case of 60, but unsure who are selling them in your country for a good price.. I have started buying a hole box and then are able to sell the ones I do not want for under retail price later, but it takes some time to sell them all..

Apparently the instructions for Whomping Willow were leaked and Lupin and Pettigrew were in them, this is from JediJacPenguin on Instagram

Well that may be, but @Metanoios91 seems to have trustworthy source so I believe he/she until proven wrong  We must remember that a lot of people have already seen the sets, unfortunately there lips are mostly sealed

Those could be the wrong legs then

Yes off course

Interesting that he has the normal leg piece, not the short one like in the other sets.

Most likely the wrong legs, could also be wrong legs for Ollivander or he could come with the book (but that is most likely Harry as usual). Anyway a doubt they have started making figs for the D2C already so he for sure is not in that set, so I guess CMF

That would be quite a random inclusion if it is Seamus. And if it's a Ravenclaw (like it very slightly looks like, though it's hard to tell), who could it be? There are not a lot of Ravenclaws in the films, and especially not Ravenclaw boys in the first couple. They could always name it as a character from the books, or just call him Ravenclaw Student, though that too would be odd. Time will tell, like with everything!

There should be some Ravenclaw in the books they could use, but I wonder which set he is in *huh*

New photo on installation of a slithering quidditch player, it could be Terence Higgs, the seeker from the first film based on the hairpiece and scared looking face.

That must be Terence Higgs;YES :sweet::thumbup: They should both have short legs I think

Whats actually insane is that by the end of the wave, if my calculations are correct, we'll be getting about 65 new Harry Potter figures

Aragog - 2

Quidditch - at least 5

Knight Bus - at least 3

Newt's Briefcase - 3-4

Grindelwald's Escape - 2

Whomping Willow - 6

Great Hall - 10

Hogwarts Castle - at least 10

Minifigures - 22

Higgs was born some time earlier than 1979, Harry was born ‘80, therefore if I remember rightly Higgs was in year 3 (long legs) when Harry was in his 2nd year (short legs) thus Higgs should have long legs

I myself am choosing to not believe much in this thread without seeing proof for myself, JJP has shared where his “proof” is from on Insta whereas I haven’t seen any proof on here, not saying he’s wrong but I’m just gonna wait for June 1st to believe anything

Willow isn’t confirmed to have 6, only confirmed figs are Harry, Ron, Snape and Filch, which is 4, Hogwarts Castle I doubt will only be 10 if we get 10 in a £100 set, I reckon it’ll be more like 15 figures for the price of the set, if it is 10 or fewer then there will be some seriously pissed off fans

That is right, but Harry was in his first year, so Higgs could be in his second year with short legs. Or up to seventh year, but he do not look much bigger than Harry in the film, so I guess 2-4 year :classic:

This is true, I know he isn’t old enough to be in his 7th year, I think he’s 2-3 years younger than Wood who was in his final year in Chamber of Secrets which in Philosopher’s Stone would put Wood in year 6 making Higgs in year 3 or 4, thus having long legs, I don’t see them giving him short legs even though he isn’t a particularly tall character, just to show he’s older than the Trio

i only just noticed I put Harry in his 2nd year, I meant to put 1st year ?

That's good, as long as they aren't all Harry Potter :-)

* new print, but obviously many will be rehashes of the old characters.

40 or so for that many sets (and their price points) is probably about right, plus the CMF line that no doubt will duplicate many key characters in different outfits.

That's sounds right, plus since Terrence Higgs is the other seeker, so I'm guessing Lego want kids to recreate the fight for the Golden Snitch.

I'm not too bugged about the lack of leg printing, since what I don't want is for it too look unatural like some of the older Clone troopers.

True that, I’m not all that bothered about leg printing, the only thing that bugs me is non-dual moulding, if there’s 2 colours then it should be dual moulded, not printed, they just look so wrong

Terrence Higgs? :oh:

Wow it seems they are going to release every single character

Cannot complain about that, the more characters the better, every single student will be amazing for a display and eventual battle of Hogwarts!! ?

what IF there isnt a big D2C set for 500€/600€ and the new harry potter sets only (not fantastic beasts) all connect to each other to form hogwards.

That way you could slowly built Hogwards without spending 500€/600€ at once.

Time to learn LEGO! DO IT! :)

We already know that there is a D2C coming out for roughly that price

Much better than Draco, we have him already and we probably will see plenty of him in future waves, this was probably the only chance for Higgs. Perfect the more the merrier

So which ones are connectable?

Grand Hall , Willow Tree and Quiddich?

Great Hall and part of the Castle is in the Willow set, nothing as of yet from the Quidditch set is connectable that we know of
