Ultron Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 If it really does come with all the founders I'm probably going to have to buy it.. Quote
Terrasher Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 Any clear word on when D2C Hogwarts will come out? There was some talk of it being revealed as one of the two early access sets for July. Does that still stand? Quote

Kim-Kwang-Seok Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 Curious as to what we might get, I've looked online for all Hogwarts MOC's I expect something like this: I assume the scale will be bigger - microscale, like Helicarrier, so I wonder how much terrain we'll get. This moc looks really nice on display, but If 40-60% of pieces go into mountain terrain, people here will be too mad I guess this one should express how impossible a decent D2C in system scale would be: even if you cut down the mountain terrain, you'd easily be at 5.000 pieces with just sections of the moc. Plus Lego would never use so many "cheap" big pieces, without any texture. The style of natural terrain here could be another option for the D2C set: more pieces for the castle, but much harder to transport and without any of the surrounding things; Quidditch, hagrits hut, forrest etc... this would have been the only option of how to do a system scale set within 500$ price range, though I feel like this was always unrealistic, since just about 4 rooms are possible in that scale and with available pieces. LDDproductions Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 This is off topic but wouldn’t it just be great if Lego decided to release some sort of battle pack thing like they did for Harry Potter. Wave 2 would have one for every house in their Hogwarts Uniform. Wave 3 would be all 4 houses for quiditch. Wave 4 would be all of their robes. Wave 5 could be death eaters and ministers. I wish they did this. Quote

joeee Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 I hope next Sunday, I am able to snag one of each set at Target and if that does not work out, I'm heading to the Lego store. Anyone else hitting the stores on day 1? Quote

I think we'll see inside the great hall, dungeons, gryffin & Slytherin common rooms, classrooms. Quote

I got word today that I’m going to be house sitting the following week...maybe I shouldn’t ask for payment up front. More sets for me! Edited June 25, 2018 by Vindicare Quote

If this is really going to have 36+ nanofigures, then they are going to need somewhere to stand and so the landscape won't be smooth and stud free. Quote

Good idea, I too will be house sitting for a week, all I have to do is keep the pool clean, feed the dogs and eat everything in the fridge. Also I get $200 in advance to spend on LEGO, needless to say I am stoked. Everyone keeps saying there is double VIP points but here it's only on two Creator sets, one of which I already have, Sunshine Surfer Van. Is it different elsewhere? I am hoping to pick up the same two sets as you anyway, are we sure of the pricing yet? Quote

Marvelous Spidey Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 Definitely picking these up on July 1st with the double VIP points. I've been saving up points to take a bite out of the big Hogwarts set. Quote

KevinMD Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 Just remember there’s a good chance they will do a HP specific promo at some point (possible d2c release) and you may want to save something for then. Or holiday season for the Xmas promos (which also have 2x). Quote
Balrogofmorgoth Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 I’m really surprised we haven’t gotten more leaks for the D2C yet. I’m hoping they start coming really soon. The CMF too Quote
GoldenNinja3000 Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 The dementor nanofigure also leaked. I’m very happy that they’re reusing the Palpatine hologram mold and it looks awesome! Some printing would’ve been nice but it’s not really needed. I also like how the students have different skin colors, since that wasn’t something I was expecting. Quote
Duffyoran Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 Okay guys I just picked up the Ron & Dumbledore Brickheadz (I know I said I wouldnt, But I regretted leaving the shop without them? on Saturday) they are amazing definitely pick them up even if you don't collect Brickheadz Quote

Since we are getting some leaks now maybe it is closer than we think The CMF on the other hand is more surprising since they usually leak much sooner Quote
