I absolutely disagree. I would hate to see those characters be in the CMF series. We have had 10 different versions of those characters and the characters to be included in the CMF series should be characters who we aren’t getting in any ordinary set. I’d love to see Lily and James as well as the house ghosts and the Dursley because we wouldn’t be able to get them in other sets (especially since we are getting the Ford Angela in another set). That means I will have to wait almost a whole year to even see how this set looks like. The sooner we get some leaked images or more info (like official description, piece count and minifigures list) about the castle the better :) Man, I am so many excited that every day i seek about a little information on potter sets ^^, even a crumb of information . Come on, the leakers, send us a new little information please mouahahha Quote

Preach! I started collecting HP figures late, so I have very few and only the main ones. Many of the minor characters are hard to get a hold of because some of them had a more limited distribution. I'd welcome this opportunity to triple my HP minifigure collection! Quote

The list as a whole seems pretty weak, with hardly any significant characters. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a Harry Potter CMF series to at the very least include Dumbledore, Hagrid and Voldemort. Unless they’re variants or something, I think it’s alright if they just stay in the sets personally Quote

Those are the characters who will be remade every year or two if this line continues. We definitely do not need them in the CMF series. I love the obscure characters we’re getting (even though I think all four house ghosts is a bit excessive). I’m psyched for James and Lily since I love Lily and they’ve never had minifigures before. This series is going to be great! Quote
HarryPotter Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 Man, I just realized the amount of money I'm gonna spend on this wave. 3-4 sets, the CMFs. How much money is a healthy kidney worth nowadays? Quote
jdubbs Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 I could see LEGO including a King’s Cross Dumbledore in a future CMF line. Not likely to ever appear in a set of its own. Maybe orphan Voldy, pre-Hogwarts? Quote
Megaflora Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 Dumbledore is definitely one I'd like to see in the CMF at some point. He has enough different variations of his robes in the films. As for Voldemort, I'd like too see Wormtail with "baby" Voldemort, although it would probably be better suited to a remake of the graveyard set. Quote

Dumbledore is coming in 2 sets this wave so I doubt Lego wants to include him in the cmf wave. I would like to see Voldemort using the same mold as baby Harry Quote

Robianco Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 (edited) That's the thing. We've got 14 figures in a £90 set apparently... So what kind of expectations are people going to have with a £500 set? They're not going to make a Hogwarts and not have Harry, Ron, Hermione, Dumbledore, Snape and Voldemort. Probably McGonagall. After that it's just a free-for-all of guess work and if they don't have Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff uniforms there'll be a revolution from some quarters. The main thing it has going for it is it's a location based set... which would normally mean more figures (Ewok Village and Death Star for example). I still remember when the Helicarrier was getting released and there were people reeling off lists of 16-20 names that should appear with it... and they got five. Only one of those was a new character. Large D2C sets normally work as standalone sets especially at that price range so you would expect that if there are rooms for each house you would get at least one character from that house. If the CMF lineup gives us house ghosts then they at least tie in, similar to the Disney CMF giving us a couple of characters that could fit the Disney Castle. Ravenclaw seems the most likely to get a character with people like Luna, Cho, Padma etc... we've got Cedric and Ernie Macmillan for Hufflepuff that people may have heard of. I think 10 is a good estimate. Some huge sets (Helicarrier, Disney Castle, UCS Falcon) only have 5-8 figures while others (like the Death Star) have 25. I would prefer to get a huge, amazing castle build with 8 figures rather than getting 20 figures and an okay build. I want them to put more effort into the actual set rather than the figures. Quote
x105Black Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 I don't know if I will buy sets, so I want all of the main characters in the CMF series. Quote

I think it's more likely to be like the UCS falcon and have 5 or less figures rather than more, they'll be wanting to put as much of the moneyi nto the build considering it's a pretty big castle and we've already debated on how they're going to fit most most of it, that's probably why they've packed it all into the Great Hall set. UCS will likely have Harry, Ron, Hermione, Dumbledore maybe an exclusive figure or two. Edited January 18, 2018 by OneWithTheForce Quote

I think it’s going to be similar to the Death Star in terms of minifigures. You look at the old Hogwarts Set 4842 figures: 10 price: 130$, 5378 figures:9 price: 90 and even this years great hall, a lot of figures for $80-90. Lego seems to really like including a lot of figures in the big Harry Potter sets so i doubt they are going to go easy on figures especially with a 500$ huge castle build Quote

Given that we also have a CMF series I don’t expect more than 8 figures in Hogwarts. Quote
