That is hard to tell.  What is the part connected to the 16t gear connected to the rudder axle?  From the steering wheel down, there are 3 16t gears, the bottom one is the one I am talking about.  In the picture, to the left of the gear, what is that part?  It looks like it has a small hole in it?? and the part goes down.

Please, do you know (think) if 42074 yellow is the same yellow as 42053 of 42030 (I mean "normal yellow")? it looks bit brighter, but I might be wrong (I hope I am). Thanks.

That is a really sweet looking catamaran...is this at least in part of what the actual model looks like?

Not too bad for 1H, but where's the largest one? Guessing its supposed to be the Mack truck? Generally, there is at least one medium-large set for 1H.  It was the 42066 in 2017.  That would rather suck if there wasn't a larger model.  Kind of like that wheeled scraper set, lots of colors and interesting wheels, rather small but pretty cool.  Wish they would make one on a large scale for a 2H model.  Catamaran is must buy for sure, as well as the rally car.

In previous years, images of smaller 1H sets usually come before the ones of bigger sets, even if the sets get released together. Don't worry.

Heyyy! Finally the official pics came! Well, I didn't expect too much but, the yacht positively surprised me by its steering and a sail control pulleys (despite of my expectation for some more winches). Basing on its color, how I wish that this 42050 Dragster was also released in Dark Azure... 

I think I like that yacht (42074). I even tried to make its reverse engineering from pictures. This is result:

It's me) I've started and did some progress, but you already beat me! Could send the link to your LDD file (PM or here - it's up to you). By the way, I like how the keel was made by two wheel with two smaller ones (for "tacks").

What part do you use to make the ball on top of the mast? And any idea what it is supposed to represent?

It's a ball joint with axle hole commonly used in Bionicle is it not?

I guess it is not. Bionicle uses those ball joints with axle hole that goes through ball but this one doesn't have hole through. I'm not sailor but I think it is representing antenna for radio.

It's a buoy, I think. Some yachts have them to ensure the mast doesn't go under the surface of the water, making it easier to right after they've flipped.

In 2017 they launched sets in five different shades of blue, so you can't always count on sensible decisions from TLG.

I do like the catamaran.

the pulley system is fantastic. I like that, looks a nice set.

Hopefully the Red 2L pin with axle is a new mold as the DBG I find is a fraction too short and doesn't click on the outside pin

That is Lego's problem. They spend too much on new colors...

What? The cost of introducing a recolor is negligible compared to that of a new mold. The only expense of recolors are logistical costs like storing elements and time lost while changing the color used in a particular molding machine (both factors that are offset by retiring an older element every time a new one is put into production). A new precision-engineered steel mold, on the other hand, represents a huge cost that can only be earned back over the "lifetime" of the mold's use.

It is a shame that the new pins don't snap into pinholes quite as well as the time-tested 2M pins and friction pins, but given the upfront cost of creating such useful new molds in the first place (ones I'm quite grateful for for the building opportunities they create), we probably won't see those minor flaws corrected at least until the current molds wear out.

It is possible because every change costs. What @Lyichir said about molds make sense, but the truth is that we have 50 shaded of blue, but not even every beam, not to mention other parts availability in same color whch is very difficult for us who prefer building mocs, but lets see what they have this year in mind

Well spoken. Yeah, they don't quite snap in, but they work. It's pretty awesome that these pieces even exist, even if they aren't perfect. 

I just saw it in a facebook post - 42074 spotted in a TRU already  Can anyone in the USA confirm? Could not find anything online yet.
