M_longer Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 (edited) I did not seen those pictures in this thread? Full size image: HERE Edited November 19, 2017 by Milan Resized big picture. Quote
Boulderer Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 That looks much better than I expected. Quote
Aventador2004 Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 Well, not what I expected. I dont know how much I like it... 49.5 tires... Quote
offroadcreations Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 (edited) Wow! I'm impressed. Great use of System parts in the front. And really nice angles on the hood. However the trailer looks crude. B-Model also looks very good. So it looks like Lego did not disappoint with a licensed set, as usual. I'm excited! I wonder if any other images leaked. Zerobricks Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 I almost couldn't decide if I'm looking at technic or model team model. But the end mix is very smooth! Quote

It is a departure from the "pure" technic models that we're accustomed to, that's for sure. A sign of things to come maybe? Quote
Aventador2004 Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 On thought, I agree with @Offroadcreat1ons the trailer looks crude. They should have brought back the 2x7 cylinders for it. Quote

Alex Ilea Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 (edited) This truck looks sick! Look at this link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/LEGO.Technic/permalink/1855456561193035/ Edited November 18, 2017 by IA creations Quote
Maaboo the Witch Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 This thing looks amazing! Love the green and the System-based construction. Are we in the late 90's? 'Cause if we are, my time vortex has worked! Huzzah. Quote

Maaboo the Witch Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 Just noticed MK and MR on the plates - Kossi and Grohl! Quote
degenerate Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 No PF logo on the box, that has to be wrong? Quote
Digger of Bricks Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 By the way, did anyone notice the new hood ornament part? Quote
Aventador2004 Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 Wait, that is not a running engine! Just now, Digger of Bricks said: By the way, did anyone notice the new hood ornament part? Yup. Quote
kbalage Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 There are some more (smaller) images on this page:https://www.brickfever.nl/6x6-all-terrain-sleepwagen-42070-17207/ I really like the set, both A and B models, very appealing mix with the system parts. No sign of PF on the box so far, I wonder if there'll be any preparation/instruction by Lego. Quote

Jockos Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 I'm so happy with the final look! Not mentioning the DBG panels Quote

Cumulonimbus Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 Absolutely love it: the details, the choice of trailer, the scale, the colors, the absence of PF (lower price!). Even the B-model is original and really well finished. Sign me up for two sets please. Well done TLG! Quote

Even the B-model is original and really well finished. Sign me up for two sets please. Well done TLG! Just goes to prove you don't need a motor for a big, mechanically impressive set. Fine by me, saves on batteries! Anyone else notice the LBG Arocs rack from the Container Yard on the trailer jacks? Edited November 18, 2017 by Maaboo35 Quote
Jockos Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 (edited) So if it has 2500-ish partcount, how many pieces will the flagship include??? It seems that TLG is pushing up the limits in piececounts. In some themes. Edited November 18, 2017 by Jockos Quote
JonathanM Posted November 18, 2017 Posted November 18, 2017 (edited) Is that a brick built straight 6? Hard to tell from the pics, but it seems too small to use the standard engine parts. On my buy list for sure. Very cool model - all the DBG panels! The green as well! The LBG rack housings. The shipping container with proper opening doors. Awesome. Edited November 18, 2017 by JonathanM more hyperbole :) Quote
