Oh my lord, I’m so sorry hahah. I misread 42076 as 42078 and assumed @Maaboo35 was talking about how when you extend the large LA on the cranes the elbows don’t stay at the same angle relative to the ground like in real trailers. I admit, now that I realise you’re talking about the hovercraft that is a bit unwieldy, unless they indeed are connected below deck.

I have no idea how I made that mistake. I must have seen MLA and assumed we were talking about the trailer, and glossed over everything else.

It's fine.  I've lost count of the times I've got a set number wrong.

Somehow I'm getting more and more excited, I really like the lineup of 2018H1. Makes me really really curios what will happen in H2 (Nurnberg Toy Fair?). 

I'm also curios how the new catalogue will look like and the official prices. Can someone remember when we had the first leaks last year?

I just want the H1 sets in my hands, with how slow Lego is with introducing new sets here (or maybe its the toy stores being slackers), im not even sure ill see them on shelves before jan 10th... On S@H the small sets are listed as available starting dec 26th...

I have all the small 2018 H1 sets now. The hook loader does have a DBG connector and has several nice parts. The pullbacks are as expected, nothing special. The engine popping function doesn't work well at all!

I wish the pullbacks were put into the racers theme instead. I’d love some small Technic sets like the bobcat and the forklift again

Racers was discontinued a few years ago and I don't see it returning. We do need a new forklift, though. It's been a decade since our last one. Maybe in H2...

Yeah, in 2012, there were four monster truck-type sets and an online game, then it all just stopped with no fanfare. Guess that's why TLG brought in the pull-backs in 2013, probably cost-cutting by merging themes. Problem is, that got them in trouble in the early 2000s when it diluted the Technic brand. And now they've added another feature to the pull-backs, the engine thing. Hopefully this won't spin off any further, otherwise TLG is risking more returns to the dark days.

The trans boat-stud in the bed puzzles me, it looks like some HOG kind of thing, but from other pics this thing seems hidden down in the bed, and the black axle to the right of it seem to go nowhere, no gears on the end etc..

 

Im hoping the rear axle has a diff, but i cant quite make it out...
