Ngoc Nguyen Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 @Thirdwigg look at the current 3x5 dogbone frame. https://brickset.com/sets/containing-part-6055519 There are two slits at both ends of the bridge. Now look at the piece right under the Technic line. There are faint shadows of these two slits too. So it's gotta be a 3x7 dogbone frame. The 3x1 perpendicular piece that you suggested doesnt have these two slits. Quote

Thirdwigg Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 @Ngoc Nguyen I hope you are right, and you make a compelling case. It would also make a much simpler mount for the 5x11 panels. Quote

Boulderer Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 It's tough to make out but, at the base of the boom on 42082, at the point where the LA fixes, it there a new liftarm? Looks like a red T-piece at 3x4? Quote

Jockos Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 There's a big problem: I don't have the space for these awesome models. Quote
allanp Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 (edited) It does indeed look like a 3x7 dog bone in red. Also I wonder if I'm seeing black BWE quarter ring gears for the turn table. Very hard to make out. Edited December 22, 2017 by allanp Quote
Thirdwigg Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 @Jockos you could burn some of your old ones. Just kidding. Sorry, burning Lego is not funny. Sorry. Quote

Ngoc Nguyen Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 @aminnich Yes yes, we do have the pictures of 2017 2H together with their names. There are one fire rescue vehicle, one snow vehicle, one off road vehicle. Which one would you like to know abot? Quote
TeamThrifty Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 i got told off for asking that! Only joking... its great that everyone seems so positive this time around, after the 'cool' reception that 42070 etc got. Happy days! Quote

Jeroen Ottens Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 (edited) The Fork lift has Mk IV on it I think... But the crane also has something like MK or OK on it... Edited December 22, 2017 by Jeroen Ottens Quote
Ngoc Nguyen Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 The 62.4 tyres look really oversized for the forklift. So my plan is: - Put the spare 4 wheels from Mack B model into the forklift. - Put those 62.4 wheesl from the forklift into my 9397 to give it proper duallies. Quote
tgrbailey Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 These all sound pretty cool, I'm really going to knuckle down and do some building over Christmas, I've only just built the claas, still have the Arcos to do and have only done the roadwork crew from this year - I did a audit the other day abd I've got 14 technic sets to build plus modular and other creator expert sets to do and 2018 is looking pretty good (sorry bank balance) Quote
offroadcreations Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 It's always a good feeling to check Eurobricks in the morning and see that the set discussion has the "Hot" tag, and know something big has happened. Anyway I'm looking forward to seeing all of them. They sound like they are different, and that is always nice to see something new in the Technic line. These sets sound exciting! Quote

Finally, we got another really new part, however, I'd prefer it in LBG... Meanwhile, I'll pray no not getting this "autonomous" loader with pull-back motors Edited December 22, 2017 by Void_S Quote
Ngoc Nguyen Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 (edited) So back to bashing the 42080, allow me to list the colors that appear in it: - DBG: wheels - Dark green: Lower half of the body. There are panels #5 an #6 in dark green for the first time. - White: a white stripe runs in the middle of the body, and the crane arm is white as well - Lime: Upper half of the body, and the cabin panels - Blue: The seat inside the cabin - Yellow: The cylinders and the grabber column - Red: The saw blade - LBG: Hose, and body - Black: Hose, and body - Orange: Chainsaw - Dark reddish brown: Log I usually don't agree with the complaints about the color vomit, but this set takes it way too far...
