According to thebrickfan.com promobricks has been given permission to attend and take pictures, though there will be some restrictions on those pictures.

Ahh nice. Hopefully we will get to see some picures of the mystery set. Or some better pictures of the crane.

Awesome, I've been obsessively refreshing your channel for the last couple of days!

I expect my Mack review to arrive this Sunday, followed by the Race Car by Wednesday. I will post them in a new topic here on EB, and you can always subscribe to my YT channel to get a notification :)

Finally something makes sense. I'm referring to the fact that promobrick is invited and pictures are allowed. If pictures are not allowed then I don't know what's the whole point.

I think pictures will be allowed, somehow, but will have to be approved by LEGO, in such a way that internal mechanism and/or new parts cannot be cloned by the scammers before going on shelf.

This makes me think TLG aims to introduce some truely innovative new parts... as someone already guessed (new pneumatic valves... maybe some new PF parts...)

BTW... I’ll attend the fair and will be there on Wednesday... of course, TLG stand will be the first I’m going to see... than, hopefully, I’ll post some (allowed according to TLG) news here.

We're very good a speculating endlessly on half baked rumors and super blurry pictures, allowing decent pictures to be posted will switch us to endless ranting about what the sets are not doing and how many new parts they don't have in the wrong color...

The point is to show new products to stores and companies selling to stores, fairs like these are not really for the end consumer such as you or me, although we are welcome there if we pay

Not entirely. You need to prove you are not a consumer by signing up. It's not that hard, but not every John Doe can purchase a ticket and go in.

On a different note, Jang has a review up on 42077, and for me that is the first time seeing the A model in a video.

I must say im quite dissapointed (again..), the proportions are off, the construction looks super flimsy in places, and realism wise it is just all wrong, not to mention the lack of features for a €99 set.

If i end up getting it, ill be building the Can-am porsche C-model straight away, the A-model is weak at best.

Based on my experience the 42077 A model is pretty sturdy, there's no problem with the construction. Not many features I agree, but the potential target audience (perfect example is my 10 year old son) thinks it looks super cool with all the stickers and he likes to play with it. The B model is nice as well when you build it (didn't like the look when I saw the photos first), and it's easy to motorize with just a few extra pieces.

I have a question: can we expect something else in June/July ?

I am building it right now from my parts collection. It´s basically a C model if you own 42039 and 42056 and you can work around some missing parts if you only have 42039. I will also try a 4x4 conversion by moving the HOG steering.

All Lego sets 42079-82 appear when you search "Lego 42083" they will be in fist few results.

42083 also appears on Brickset. The temporary title even lists it as a possible licensed supercar.
