And related, whether it will be pure Technic like 42056 or more of aTechnic/System hybrid like the Mack. Also, same scale as the Porsche, yet 900 more parts. I think we are looking at the most expensive Technic set ever. UCS falcon is the most expensive technic set! Quote
Bartybum Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 Lord almighty this set’s gonna cost like $600AUD+ with the Bugatti license Quote

Ngoc Nguyen Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 If Uwe is the designer behind the Chiron, I don't think it's likely he would use System parts to achieve the curves. That style is observed in Milan's creations only. Uwe's creations are more Technic-ish, more traditional. I think that curve will be achieved with two 3x11 curves. Quote
PicnicBasketSam Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 3600 piece Bugatti Chiron? I'm intrigued. If I could read German I could probably get some more useful information from Zusammengebaut's Twitter feed. I expect something even better than the 42056 Porsche set for how much this will probably cost. Quote

Or maybe by using silver flexible axles ... The "eyebrows" above the headlight are another make or break point for the styling. EDIT: What features can we expect in the set? I'm guessing: - Dark Azure and black exterior, tan interior -> very likely - Custom rims with 42056 tires -> confirmed - W16 engine -> confirmed - AWD drivertrain -> very likely - Sequential gearbox -> very likely - Actuated rear spoiler - Ride height adjustment -> probably not EDIT: updated the list Edited January 30, 2018 by Cumulonimbus Quote
valenciaeric Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 Perhaps the prices leaked were for the wrong sets and this one will be 350 euros, not 42082. I know we had that discussion last time around with 42055 and 42056. Quote

allanp Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 Normally I would rant about the baby blue colour, but being a Bugatti Chiron, this is one instance where it could look good. Also happy with the choice of vehicle as it is 4 wheel drive with 7 speed gearbox. Just hope there's lots of cool new parts to make those more authentic. Quote

Jim Posted January 30, 2018 Author Posted January 30, 2018 The Technic Video shows a beige interior, so I think it's safe to assume that the interior will indeed be tan. Quote
anatem Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 I hope it won't be all black like in the video Quote
