allanp Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 The Porsche hubs could already be used for 4wd. So maybe we get bigger CV joints for greater torque and steering angles? Quote

Huaojozu Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 Oh God, that 42082 parts count. Considering BWE is more 3000 ish (without the truck and the "soil"), this will be one MONSTER of a build. I bought nothing in 2017 - in hindsight that was smart as all that budget can go towards the AMAZING 2018. Quote
Jockos Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 From year to year, Technic sets become bigger and bigger, and I'm happier and happier knowing that the part count is freaking high, so as the prices, which is sad... Quote
Thirdwigg Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 (edited) I am starting to think the only way I get any of these is with Rebrick or TC contest. Those prices! Edited January 30, 2018 by Thirdwigg Quote
J_C Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 (edited) if these RRP are correct, I think it is fair to say, LEGO calmed down (put wet clothes on the forehead) after 2017 (especially 42070). Considering waiting just a few months (or weeks) usually allows you to buy way under RRP, to pay like 160-180eur for 4000+ 42082 crane or aproxx sub 100eur for Forrest Harvestor does not seems unreasonable. Aventador2004 Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 So, the sets reconsidered. 42079 Yellow and dark blue, nice looks and boom. Price: 70? 42080 Hoshposh green, orange, grey, yellow, red, and bleh. Only a parts pack. Price: 130- 42081 Yellow, grey, black, and red. Nice bucket, wheels, and drone! Price 120- 42082 Red, black, grey, and maybe. 42070 over again, too big, too much sloppy. Price: 229- 42083 Not enough known. Price 359-! Quote
Jockos Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 I'm wondering when will a Technic set surpass 75192 in part count? Quote

iv-tecman Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 OMG the new sets this year from Lego Technic range are getting me very excited The Bugatti Rims look stunning, and the flagship set this year looks incredible. Why in earth was this line up not done for the 40th Anniversary? I'm getting very impressed by this years H1 - H2 and ultimate set line up. Quote

I still don't understand how that set ever happened at the price it did, but that's off topic. 230'ish for 4000 parts is back to 'normality'. Quote
