Well, what's your favorite Phantoka? I chose Lewa. I don 't own many of them.

chirox, right before mutran. i just dont like vicans feet. :-(

im surprised a toa nuva is winning, after all that "no resemblance" crud. still, chirox is right behind! :-)

Mutran and little buddy. Like a mash up of the other bad guys but at a few bucks off for the two of them.

It also doesn't hurt that I found the Toa pretty darn lackluster. What was sad was this poll made me realize how unexcited I am for the whole 2008 spring line. Thats not entirely fair. The bad guys have a cool creepy vibe about them I like a lot.

Ah well, more money for Space Justice!

Difficult to say, since I am a fan of the whole 2008 Winter lineup. I like both Toa Nuva and Makuta, but I think I prefer the Makuta because they have a feel of old-school BIONICLE to them, since they have no guns (Their Tridax pods just seem more like cool glowing bodies to me, they don't have that gun feel that BIONICLE has carried since the Cordak.)

Although I have an affinity for Titans like Ignika and Icarax, I'll have to agree with Tohst and go with Mutran and Vican. At first I wasn't crazy about him, I thought he was a re-made Chirox and Kirop, but after getting him I can say that I was extremely pleased. His parts and pieces, once I looked closely, are practically nothing in common with Chirox or Kirop, only the masks are the same. (And different colored masks is a good thing!) Plus the hand design on a canister-size set is sweet. Overall, I just love Mutran's design, his character in the latest BIONICLE book, and the fact that the combined set is a dollar cheaper than a single Matoran + Toa.

And jifel, I wasn't surprised that a Toa was winning (that is, before I voted for Mutran ha! *skull* ) because you have to remember that speakers are typically not as common as voters.

I think that just proves what a great set Mutran is. Visorak-kal and I have very different viewpoints about Bionicle, both the sets themselves and the brand in general. And yet we both knew a winner when we saw it. ;-)

I commend VK on his excellent taste.

I really love Antroz right now, but I'll decide when I get Icarax, he's the last set for me to buy, of the Phantoka wave.

My favourite's probably one of the Makuta, but I think the six Phantoka and Icarax are the greatest sets LEGO has created. Seriously.

true, but pohatu is still winning! More votes for chirox! now!

Come on, most of the titans we have had in the last few years totally blow Icarax out of the water. Especially Maxilos and Spinax. *sweet*

Anyway, I voted for Antroz. He is one of the finest canister set villans we've had in years, in my opinion. I love almost everything about him. Even the tridax pod doesn't look as bad as it did before, although I hate how the body is open at the back. *hmpf*

Hm, seems that Pohatu is winning in this poll. Can't disagree with that - he's the best toa this year, by far. *thumbup*

I disagree. *tongue*

Umm whats the small red motoran that is evil called? He's the only bionicle that i will ever think of buying..

That is Radiak.

One word. Kardas.

Honestly, though, after purchasing the set I don't find Icarax as bad as I had previously assumed. While his build regrettably is not as advanced as Maxilos, it is not as unadvanced as I thought. He's way more than a mere Titan with a Phantoka body. The hip system is really neat, a great improvement and I am glad to see the hip system is kept consistent on Takanuva later this year. While some sets like Maxilos, Karzahni, Vezon/Fenrakk, Kardas, Brutaka, etc. are better than Icarax, I find him just as cool as others like Axonn, Hydraxon, Gadunka, and Umbra.

So he is pretty cool, and I can see how 2008 might actually be the perfect year for some fans in terms of its mix of poseability/articulation with style and that hint of technic first reintroduced to use in 2007. I mean, you have a mix between clonism and differentiation which provides a good number of new pieces. You also have the return of a gear function in Icarax, and although gears are not popular to build this gear function was not too hard to construct. So I can how that point could be made, though I myself am a die-hard 2007 fan.

Icarax's wings cover the hole in the back. *tongue* But I like Antroz as well, though he could use a little lower body armor, his hips seem to thin. I think the armor Chirox and Mutran has would have looked good on Antroz in red or perhaps upside-down like on Icarax.

I have to say Toa Ignika, even if he wasn't on the list.

I just can't get enough of the Ignika and Skyboard.

Mutran and Vican. t isn't so obvious in other countries, but somewhere (like in Russia) they cost less that Makuta and Matoran separately. Great set to buy two-in-one characters.

And they're good characters in storyline. When buying sets I always look not only on their appearance, but on their story role too. Yes, it's strange, I know))
