Hello everyone,

my name is Ivo and this is my fist MOC. I've returned to Lego after 20 years when I started playing again with my son. He is now almost 5, and we're building every day together. I've started this project with literally zero brick (I didn't want to steal parts from our playing sets) and zero experience, so it took my about 14 months of planning, acquiring parts and building it. There are many things am not fully satisfied with, but I've had so much fun making this project and I guess that's what really matters.

I've tried to recreate a scene from a German WW2 mythical "Die Glocke" project. Allegedly, die glocke was a top secret German wunderwaffe or wonder weapon project with purpose of changing the course of war. There are many speculation of what actually the glocke device did once after it was activated. There are many theory - biological weapon, anti-gravity device, even torsion field generator that can alter time and space. But am not about to bore here with technicality speculations, especially because the device was never found after the war, and there is no real proof of anything about its function.

Although some elements of my project are trying to be as much as it can be called authentic (experiment location, glocke device look, bussing nag 4500 crane truck) almost everything is purely fictional. Thanks for stopping by and of course comments and critics are always welcome.

Welcome back to LEGO, a great thing to do with your son :)

Very nice details here... i really like the truck you made, and all those mechanical details like cable etc, also the guy at the top of the pillar is a great touch :)

Keep it on!

Thank you! As my first feedback it means a lot to me. Again, many thanks!

What a fantastic looking build!! The "henge" structure, control room/bunker, crane and even the vegetation look perfect!! And the background story is something I've never hear of (just given it a quick Google and it seems pretty interesting!!) Looking forward to seeing what you come up with next!!

Quite a nicely done MOC, and such an interesting topic for one! I remember reading about this enigma some time ago and somewhat forgot about it, but it all came back to me after spotting the title of this topic.

This is awesome! I love all the cabels, chains and wires going everywhere. You did a fantastic job on the coloring of the plants. I love your tree :) Keep up the good work.

Very nice indeed, my only criticism would be the Glocke  itself, i think it needs to be slightly larger and more "Acorn" or "Bell" shaped. but still a great scene and very well done.

Thank you! I was always interested with ww2 technology and especially with it's myths so I had no doubt what to build for my first MOC. Glad you liked it!

Thank you so much. When I was planning what to build I said to myself that it will definitely have a tree in it. Actually the tree is probable the part of the MOC that am most satisfied with. Again, many thanks for your comment!

Thank you very much. Ironically, the main 'character' in my scene, Glocke itself, got the least of my attention and it is a part of MOC that am least satisfied with. Originally I made it bigger but then it was too big for the crane and the truck which I wanted as close to minifigure scale as I could get. As for the shape, you are definitely right and it is the place where the lack of building experience is showing mostly. Many thanks for your comment.
