alex54 Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 For some reason my town plan had an entire extra bag of 2x1 one stud dark bley plates. Me too! And Hinckley too! It's a mistake, but a good one! :-D Quote
Wout Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Thank you for the nice review. It is always very detailed *y* :-) Quote
Jones Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Thanks for the wonderful and detailed review! I can't wait to build mine this weekend! Quote
Piranha Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 (edited) An excellent review of an excellent set Hinckley! *sweet* However it isn't a real review until you do a comic :-P I simply love the cinema and water fountain! The figs are okay, nothing to special here I am fan of highly detailed figs(which is why I like License themes and customs alot *wub* ) 100th ON!! P Edited February 16, 2008 by Piranha Quote
MagPiesRUs Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Thanks for another brilliant review *wub* This set is a thing of beauty, but as great as it is, I simply can't afford it. I'm not much of a town collector, so I think I can just resist buying it. Regardless, the set is fantastic, and I love the 50's style of the buildings *wub* the retero curves and squarish shapes look great, especially on the service station. The cinema is wonderful, with ticket booth, velvet rope, popcorn stand and the theatre itself. I love the stickers on it, the movie posters are great *wub* Thanks again *sweet* Quote
Cyclone Titan Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 I built this set a few minutes ago and im amazed to see how oddly stout the "Town Hall" is compared to the other buildings, but, a good set nonetheless. Quote
