Sandy Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 Excuse me for bringing up a mildly old topic, but I just had to show you guys my modest collection of LEGO. I recently got my old LEGO back, so I decided to re-build all the sets I own (a grand total of 49 sets). Some pieces are unfortunately missing, but surprisingly few compared to how old some of the sets are (the oldest dates back eighteen years). Here's a bird's eye view of all the sets I currently own. Here's the old... ... and the new. Western & Indians Pirates, Imperial Guard & Islanders Classic Castle Paradisa & Town A few from Space, even! Licensed Skeletons (with a certain princess!) The Trolls & Crown Knights And last but not least, the Dwarves I also did a separate shot of my minifigs, about 130 of them. There are also a couple of figs that I got outside of the sets shown above, mainly in the city section. I know it's not a lot compared to what many of you guys own, but it's a start, right? With , ~Sandy~ Quote
WhiteFang Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 Sandy, your collection is great, even for a start up. Because you have such wonderful themes/sets such as Black Knights, Wolfpack, Dragon Masters, Paradisa, Pirates, Wild West and etc. Furthermore, they are in excellent condition. I am envy of you, as you had some of the old sets that I want in great condition. Thanks for sharing it with us. Quote
tnickolaus Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 (edited) That's how i like my collection - ready to build Edited July 13, 2008 by tnickolaus Quote
Sandy Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 That's how i like my collection - ready to build Oh, don't get me wrong - my collection is all disassembled now! Although my legos fit in only three blue boxes and one of those small drawers for screws and bolts. So it's nothing compared to the mass you have there! *envy* Quote
Shoc Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 (edited) Oh, don't get me wrong - my collection is all disassembled now! So it's nothing compared to the mass you have there! *envy* I have much, much more Lego than tnickolaus shows in his picture, but I am envious of you for the greatness of the sets you do own! Maybe if I had that little Lego, but those sets, I wouldn't have the problems with space that I do but I would still have a very good time with it! Edit: Going by the topic - if I did actually post photos of my collection I would simply be posting photos of my whole bedroom, and even though a massive amount of Lego is not in boxes, there is even more in the boxes! It would be tricky to show! :skull: Edited July 13, 2008 by Shoc Quote

rriggs Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 May I recommend compressed air canisters? They're usually used for blowing dust off computer parts or as the propellant for airbrushes, but they come with this nice little "drinking straw" that plugs into the hole and can blow air whereever you point it. The ones I have are made by Badger for their airbrushes. Usually run about £2 ($4, €3) per can where I'm from. Just don't get it mixed up with a can of WD40 - That could get messy Cheers Rog Quote
Shoc Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 So you're about to build something new? What will it be? She already has - check out Sandy's topics, here's a link. :skull: Quote

CP5670 Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 Here is what I've got: This is only about half of my collection; numerous other sets are unopened due to lack of space (and time to build them, for that matter). I have an extra room available, but need to get more of those shelves for it. Some of my MOCs are mixed in among the official models. Quote
BerndDasBrot Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 cool! Can I see more photos of your blacktronII MOC? Quote
metalandi Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 That blacktron ship looks really awesome! Allright, so now i finally also made some (bad) pictures of my collection, which is as to say, placed all over my appartement..it's time to disassemble some sets but it just hurts so to do that cause i love them all Again sorry for the bad quality: and the absolute pearl of my collection Quote
Norro Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 That blacktron ship looks really awesome! Indeed! But I'm also loving some of your castle goodness.... How do you keep them assembled? God Bless, Nathan Quote
CP5670 Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 cool! Can I see more photos of your blacktronII MOC? Sure, I'll take a few tomorrow and post them in the MOC project thread. It looks pretty unfinished at the moment though, as the top wing is not yet built and there is not much detail on the exterior yet. I've had to put this project on hold for a while now due to a Bricklink order that's been delayed for almost a month. Quote
metalandi Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 Indeed! But I'm also loving some of your castle goodness.... How do you keep them assembled?God Bless, Nathan That's quit simple, i don't disassemble them Quote
The Cobra Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 (edited) A few notes: 1) I thought about waiting until all the sets I bought on the bay arrived. But then I kept buying and buying... 2) I've been only back into lego since last year, so my collection is not as huge as someone else's 3) Sometimes, some Imageshack servers are down; that explains the missing images. MIB (until I build them, I'm not the kind of guy who keeps Lego in box) Level 1: Town + Level 2: Castle Levels 3, 4, 5 (5 is empty, waiting for something) + Level 6: Exoforce Edited August 12, 2008 by The Cobra Quote
bullet8542 Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 Dude don't take this the wrong way but..............I think I hate you Are you considering adopting anyone?.......... I will only stay in one room........Lets say this one and not be too much trouble That is FRIGGIN SWEET My wife would lose her mind if my collection was that big.........She just may Finally had some time to get some snapshots of all my junk. Here's one of them... More HERE ...once moderated of course ;-) You may notice that most of what is on display is newer sets...that's because my stuff gets rotated as I build. Most of what I own is in several plastic tubs in that closet behind those boxes of sets I haven't gotten around to building yet Quote
legotrainfan Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 (edited) Since my dad bought a new camera a while ago, I took some pictures of my collection today. Notice my B-unit. It is not yet completed because I don't have enough of those old gray slopes for the roof. And yes, the Super Chief in the front is a limited edition one. This is what you see when you open the door to the room. Unfortunately, it opens inwards. If it opened outwards, I'd have more space for the stuff. I always must take the door into account when I build a new layout. Some of my sets are quite dusty and would need a wash, I know. They were standing in a room with a bed for a long time. Those sets that are less dusty weren't in that room for a long time or they have never been there at all or, if they were, they were better protected from dust than the other sets. The three tiny things in the back are three castle carriages in case you wonder: Once again, a lot of dust, especially on the railway station. In this pic you can also see my one and only Bionicle set. One corner of the room: And the little Western train. I added the caboose of the My Own Train series. It looks quite good when added to the Western train. This room is quite good. There is much less dust since no beds or cushions or whatever are in there. The only problem I have are wood-lice as I mentioned in that spider problem thread. I have no idea how the wood-lice get in there. The room is dry as you can see And no, this is not all the stuff I have. Some vehicles are on the wooden shelf. And a lot of sets have been put back into their boxes. These are especially castle sets and vehicles. Edited September 9, 2008 by legotrainfan Quote
