Posted February 16, 200817 yr Here's the result of my latest fiddling...a German Army mounted band - part of the victory parade in Paris, 1940. Here are some unaltered pictures of the men: Dr. S.
February 16, 200817 yr Wow, you have a beautiful army going, must have cost you an arm and a leg. ;-) Nice little band. I especially like the drumsticks. But it looks as if you have to chew them for the fig to grip em'. :-P Nice work! *sweet* (Good editing job on the first pic, too! *wub* )
February 16, 200817 yr Author Wow, you have a beautiful army going, must have cost you an arm and a leg. ;-) Nice little band. I especially like the drumsticks. But it looks as if you have to chew them for the fig to grip em'. :-P Nice work! *sweet* (Good editing job on the first pic, too! *wub* ) Thanks! Yep, there's a SERIOUS illegal move on those drumsticks - I had to crimp them with pliers to get the drummer to grip them. Eek! And yes, my various armies are starting to hurt me in the wallet. Dr. S.
February 16, 200817 yr And yes, my various armies are starting to hurt me in the wallet. Brickarms does make some of the best custom figs. I've only boguht two figs from him. *wub* *y* But I'm gonna wait til' the new Indy 4 sets come out. The uniforms are lookin' good, and I want a Soviet army. X-D
February 16, 200817 yr Great shots there Dr.S, the first of course is the best, you've edited that well (unless it was just a picture behind it 8-| ), still it looks excellent. I love the drum design on the horse, very clever, and though you've modded the drumsticks, I still like them very much, good work. The trumpeter is a nice touch too. Batbrick Away! >:-)
February 16, 200817 yr Very ingenious way to make the drums fit on the horse! Nice editing in the first photo too!
February 16, 200817 yr Yep, there's a SERIOUS illegal move on those drumsticks - I had to crimp them with pliers to get the drummer to grip them. Eek! I believe you can buy gear sticks wth smaller ends that easily clip into hands: Is it just me, or is that Indy masquerading as a German? X-D
February 17, 200817 yr I love those drums! Simple yet effective solution, I may have to nick that. X-D The pictures themselves are great too, don't ya' just love those Brickarms helmets! :-D ~Peace Edited February 17, 200817 yr by iamded
