cesbrick Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 (edited) For many years I've been a fan of doozy models and have a bunch of them pinned on my Pinterest account! And finally I was able to build one of them: the little charming European Café Shop! Managed to put a lot of details and tried a few techniques that I had in mind for a while but also some new stuff! What’s your favourite detail? Mine is definitely the small chair and the lamps! Thanks for the millionth time to Markus for all the hints and suggestions! Hope you guys like it Café shop Edited October 11, 2017 by cesbrick Quote
kjm161 Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 I was not familiar with doozy models before your post and after looking them up can see why you were inspired. Great job in recreating one in Lego! I like all the details you were able to include. I particularly like your table and chair. Quote
koalayummies Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 Wow really cool! The chair, table and roof have some awesome building techniques. Minifigure oxygen tanks and briefcases for the roof and wall. Very unconventional, ingenious and awesome building throughout! Quote
paupadros Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 Really spectacular! I didn't know of Doozy since now, but it's the kind of thing that I usually enjoy, you know, intricate but homely places that look just stellar. And with your model... It's just very very good. Really nice tables and that lamp using the bucket Quote
peedeejay Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 Very clever and original techniques, especially the brick wall! Thanks for the inspiration! Quote
