shimon Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 (edited) Hello everyone! I would like to present you my latest MOC: The mini forklift Features: - Working lif - Steering - Lift tilt via lever The challenge was to make the lift operatable from the vehicle even while tilted, having no space for standard mechanical solutions made me think about another solution: A string mounted on an axle that allows certain linear movement in both directions. Luckily the 41L string with studs fits perfectly allowing the movement range needed. Video: Edited October 11, 2017 by shimon Quote
Aventador2004 Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 I love it, TLG should make a set like this! Quote
TechnicSummse Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 Wow, really nice. So many functions in such a tiny model... and it even looks good Quote
Takanuinuva Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 Neat though might want to consider using the 8 long axles with stoppers so the forks don't slip out the bottom. That is if the axles used on the lift are 8 long Quote
TechnicRCRacer Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 Absolutely perfect! Please post it on Rebrickable, I would love to build it! Quote
Jurss Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 Fantastic! I love those small things with lot of functionality for small scale. Of course, it's frustrating, that HOG is not a HOG ... but at this scale, it seems almost impossible to switch the HOG and lift knobs. Quote
Leonardo da Bricki Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 Sheer genius! I love this little build, please make instructions of any kind, I would love to have this little model! Quote
braker23 Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 (edited) This is simply perfect for its scale, thanks for sharing such a nice little model Edited October 12, 2017 by braker23 Quote
Aleh Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 Cool tiny MOC! Nice solutions! Can you make a simple instruction please? Quote
The_Icestorm Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 This is super cool! Love how you fit so many functions in such a small space. Quote
dagupa Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 This model would be a strong competitor on Lego Ideas. Even an official Technic set. I'll try to reverse engineering this beauty. Very good work. Quote
Boulderer Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 Fantastic small scale build. I'm a big fan of the smaller models, for the ingenuity needed to solve the design challenges ? Quote
shimon Posted October 13, 2017 Author Posted October 13, 2017 Thanks for the comments! I will make a building instructions video soon! Quote
