WesternOutlaw Posted June 8, 2008 Author Posted June 8, 2008 Your jungle is one of my favourite, and gotten most of my inspiration from. Thanks Brickster. I understand the decision behind it. Once again, Brickster. Thanks for sharing! its a shame youve took it down but im sure one day you can surpass it infact ive been inspired by this to do my own kinda of thing like this Thanks guys. I appreciate that. I will definately be doing something in the future (once I get bored with Ghost Train - perhaps return to Castle). I picked up the new sets last week and look forward to building them (all but the tower set). Quote
Batbrick Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 Ah, it's sad to see it go, but it has been a great time. thanks a lot TheBrickster for sharing it with us, I really enjoyed following this and you have definitely inspired me to make my own Indy diorama. Hope I helped a little and good luck with future projects! Batbrick Away! Quote
JimBee Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 (edited) wow, very good, TheBrickster! Lots of time, bricks and effort make it a greAat creation. Its really nice to see all of those adventure based sets in one place. I didnt even know LEGO made jurassic park. (call me a noob...) Im also glad its not all forest. The airstrip is a nice addition, and the temple adds mystery. The big hole in the middle on a blue surface to make a river was pretty clever, and the congo statues teeth were cool as well. Over all, awesome work, and the best part is, its WIP. EDIT: aw too bad you took it down, but at least youll be making other great creations in the future. Edited June 8, 2008 by JimButcher Quote
Skinny Boy Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 This WIP has been very inspiring to me. I have been trying to make a jungly thing for ages, but I dont know exactly what i'm doing. One thing I am using are 1x1x5 reddish brown bricks. They work well for trees even though they are square, but they are just bigger than minifigs and I have loads due to a demolition a while back. Keep up the good work Quote
Mattieshoe Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 Could you by chance re-post it? I've always wanted to see an Adventurers setup. Thanks. Quote
Sir Dillon Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Could you by chance re-post it?I've always wanted to see an Adventurers setup. Thanks. I believe these are the images: http://www.majhost.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=168511 Quote
WhiteFang Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 Sir Dillion got the right link. I missed Brickster's jungle layout. It had provided me lots of inspiration, and most importantly, to create a table top project like himself. Perhaps, will Brickster has the time to re-link all of the images and display these great layout? Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted September 13, 2008 Author Posted September 13, 2008 Sorry I missed these more recent replies. Maj.com changed their link to Majhost.com. All my images deeplinked to Maj.com no longer work. I have been slowly updating many of my picture threads, but I've created a lot of messages over the years. This particular thread has a lot of images as well. The link is correct though with all the pictures. It's probably the best way to see all of them. There is one sub-folder within the main folder with additional images. Quote
Manta Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 That is just amazing. I love how you combined themes to display the sets. AWESOME! Quote

WhiteFang Posted September 13, 2008 Posted September 13, 2008 Brickster, thanks for the new updated links. It's nice to look at these Jungle Adventures again. Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted September 13, 2008 Author Posted September 13, 2008 Thanks Brickster! Brickster, thanks for the new updated links. It's nice to look at these Jungle Adventures again. You bet guys! . I've been wanting to update this thread for some time, but it had a lot of images throughout the 4-5 pages. This is the problem when image sites change links or go down. EDIT: This is my favorite of the pictures (although it doesn't show the temple and newer Indy sets): Quote
