SollX Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 As there is no news of the new modular, let me show you one i have been working on. It is narrow.. 8 studs wide! I always wanted to make a 8 wide modular as a challenge and now i had to for a reason. so here it is. The back: the inside: I left one side open like this because it is so narrow, and this way the inside can be displayed and the first floor has a small livingspace. it can just fit, stair, kitchen, couch and TV the top floor has a bathroom, a shower and a toilet and here it is in my city. (now you can see why it has to be so narrow. there is a big crowd watching the classic F1 GP!... and eating pizza duh.. Let me know What you think! I would like to see some more 8 wide modulars Quote
deraven Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 My first thought was, "An 8-wide modular? That's silly." but looking at the detail you put into it, I'm impressed! And there are plenty of buildings out there that really are ridiculously narrow, having been built into a former alleyway, etc.. I especially like the back of the building and those curved stairs! koalayummies Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 Very lovely! 8-wide is particularly challenging because the doors and some window frames take up 4-studs by themselves and after the walls there's only 6-wide for an interior but you pulled it off very nicely. I too would like to see more MOC modulars utilizing the odd 8x32 plate. Great work Sollx. The somewhat strange baseplate: Quote
Scipiotik Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 Love it and your display, I'm working on something similar with a street race track. Yours is terrific. Quote
Night City Dream Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 The building perfectly matches with the set 60150. Quote

badchriss Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Oh that Building is just adorable.I love how you used the Pieces from the Pizza Van. Building an 8wide Modular Building sure is a tough Challenge, but you pulled it off nicely, well done. Quote
