kobalt1977 Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 (edited) Hello everybody This is my new model : Eagle Painting is based on the white-tailed Eagle. The guns can rotate horizontally and vertically. Cockpit - rather more classic Parking mode Thanks for looking! Gallery on Brickshelf.com or Flickr.com Edited October 31, 2017 by kobalt1977 Quote
Digger of Bricks Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 Say, that's pretty cool! It may be a land based mech, but given its avian inspiration, this thing looks like it's going to fly! I like the way the legs can crouch down for entrance and exit. Quote
LucByard Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 (edited) Well conceived and very nicely executed. The Eagle's colours have been worked over the mechanical grey brilliantly and there's some nice part combinations like the yellow connector/ grey gear/grey 2x2 exhaust piece on the legs. deraven Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 I love it! Beautifully designed and executed! I will say that it really needs a flight mode, though. Quote
Tezclatipoca Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 Excellent mech ! I really like its avian style ! Maybe I will borrow you some ideas for a future build of mine... Quote
samurai-turtle Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 This reminds me of some of the sets that came out of Legends of Chima line. Quote
Mike S Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 Caught my eye! Very original design well executed! Quote
nerdsforprez Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Different from most Mechas we see here. Very well done.... thanks for sharing. Quote
Tyutyu Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Fantastic. Reminds me of Battletech mech designs. Here is the Battletech Raven: Quote
Jim Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 I absolutely love your model and I was about to frontpage it. However, your images are way too big. Can you embed images that have a maximum width of 1024 pixels. Either resize them and upload them to Brickshelf, or use Bricksafe or Flickr where you can link to smaller versions. Quote
Feuer Zug Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Sweet build. It captures the essence of the eagle well. Quote
Lox Lego Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 That is rad!!! Lovely design, and really like the wings! Quote
GregoryBrick Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Just right! Nice economy of parts - it's not overdone with details or fiddly bits, very cool. Quote
sander1992 Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 That is an interesting looking vehicle. Great job on the colors and shape. Quote
M2m Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 Excellent idea and implementation of that idea ! Love it! Quote
theDeanoRama Posted November 15, 2017 Posted November 15, 2017 Came here looking for a Space 1999 ship and was pleasantly surprised rather than dissapointed! Nice job Quote
Kelkschiz Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 (edited) Totally awesome. Love the overall design with the eagle shape and details everywhere. It has a very unique look and also great use of parts! Does the top section disconnect so it can function as a fighter as well? Edited November 17, 2017 by Kelkschiz Quote
Professor Thaum Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 That's a great one... I like the designe of the two engines and the "feathering" the parking mode : Quote
JeffBuilds Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 Lookimng at this model, I'm immediately thinking about the Lyrics to the opening theme of Team America: World Police. Great work on this particular mech! Quote
Tim_AZ Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 Fantastic model. You nailed the look and color scheme. Quote
