, another fantastic ep, I didn't expect him to do that!

Great stuff, the only problem is that it seems a bit dark in places, probably because you had to fit in two ships.

The latest comic looks good on my laptop's monitor, but looks too dark my other computer's monitor, which is about ten years old. So, I might need to start brightening up the comics a bit (especially when they involve Blacktron) so everybody can see them fine.

Another nice comic, although initially when I saw "magnalocks" I thought you had wrote "megabloks" !

HA! That would be blasphemy.

This may just be my paranoia coming out (took me weeks to get all megablocks pieces out of my collection) but I thought the same!

New comic:

Meteor Madness (Part 1):

http://www.drunkduck.com/Lego_Space/

"Meteor Madness" was the first storyline I came up with and scripted when developing Lego: Space - The Comic, but I held off on it because it seemed difficult to do as my first few comics. It worked out better that way, I think, for I was able to add elements I created when making the 33 comics that came before it.

I thought it would be hilarious to have Schwartz live in a typical suburban house that just happens to be on a moon (which seemingly has an oxygen atmosphere and Earth-like gravity). In keeping with my desire to have all the sets in the comic be actual models Lego sold (or be based on those sets), I made Schwartz's house from instructions for the set 6370 Weekend Home that came out in the Town series in 1985. As that set costs mucho $$$$$ these days, I managed to acquire the parts I needed for much, much cheaper. The only major difference is that I had to substitute black bricks wherever the original had blue bricks. And I think the black looks better. So, nyah.

And yes, unlike poor Galanos, Schwartz has hair under the helmet.

Another great comic there KDog, great to see Shwartz' home, I love the little touches like him just having a normal suburban house. I like Shwartz' hair too, suits him. I have to say I laughed at the part when Shwartz admits to even showing a worry on his face, despite having a permanent smiley face, was this intentional? I love Vanilla Snowball too, such a random name for a cat in a space comic. Oh, and poor Galanos, still hanging, I wonder how this story will go, I like it so far.

One question, Shwartz house is on the moon, is the space base they were at before on the moon as well?

A lot of the bases in my comic look like they're on the moon, and that's due to the lunar baseplates I keep reusing. Schwartz's house has been established (if you've been reading very carefully) to be on the moon of Tiberius, which is the planet the Raven's Port bar and the M:Tron squadron who like to brawl there are located. The Nebula Outpost and all other bases are located on other moons/planets. The Nebula Outpost is in this storyline again, and it will be clear that it's elsewhere.

The joke about Schwartz showing worry on his ever-smiling face was intentional. I'm glad it worked.

Vanilla Snowball was the name of a white (and deaf) cat that my friend and his family owned a few years ago. (My friend's kid named him, although they thought the cat was a she at first.) I loved that cat and it loved me. I used to play with it when it was a kitten and the cat always rushed to meet me when I visited, still remembering me months later, and would show its affection by nipping lightly at my legs. Unfortunately, my friend didn't really like the cat and the family didn't show it much attention aside from feeding it, and kept it outdoors. One day, Vanilla Snowball ran away and never came back. I'm really bummed about that, as they had offered to give me the cat, but I couldn't have a cat where I was living at the time. If they still had the cat, I could have taken it in now. So, my inclusion of a white cat named Vanilla Snowball in the comic is a little tribute to him/her. I hope the real cat is healthy and safe somewhere.

That's it! I want Valkyrie caught and shot asap!:laugh:

I'm sure Schwartz feels the same...

Another great couple of comics KDog, your lighting is much better here too, even when Valkyrie and his Blacktron spaceship appear it was easy to see what was going on. Love the way you had these two meet as well, it seems typical of their silly personalities to go after something like this. Looking forward to the next one, and thanks for clearing up that base thing, I went through the series again yesterday and saw how it worked. Sad story about Vanilla too, thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Batbrick. It's the difference between night-time shooting and daylight you're seeing, I think.

Ice cream, the worst addiction I can think off.

Wow... That was one hell of a surprise at the end.

Plot twist ON!

Holy crap, I never saw that one coming! :oh:

That was certainly unexpected. :oh:

On a side note, that toxic ice cream in the last one actually seems like the kind of thing Schwartz would like.

Holy moly! I didn't see that coming....

On another note, I love the police boat cameo!

Batbrick Away!

That was a surprise at the end of number 4!

, "Meteo-what now? Great work KDog, very clever how you revealed Valkyrie's gender, I remember spelling it once and pronouncing it loud, but shrugging it off as a "space" name. Nice to know those tiny clues you left too, I'll go check those out, very clever.
