December 19, 200915 yr "Then all you smug p*****..." I think the comic rating went up a bit... Ben Kenobi
December 19, 200915 yr Lunch Time (Part 1):http://www.drunkduck.com/Lego_Space/?p=647753 I just noticed The Doctor standing next to the TARDIS in the first frame! He sure does like to keep a close watch on Ronald. Edited December 19, 200915 yr by Sonic Screwdriver
December 20, 200915 yr Lunch Time (Part 1):http://www.drunkduck.com/Lego_Space/?p=647753 Umm, what's myopia?
December 21, 200915 yr Heh. Author Filibuster much? It would've been ironic however if he ended up the hardest working and most successful person, but alas we are talking about Ronald here. I always enjoy a little author tract now and again, so I'll let this slide as the irony term does annoy me sometimes when put into the wrong context. I chuckled at the Masterso f the Universe cutaway, abd the final line was quite good too. Batbrick Away!
December 21, 200915 yr Author I'm aware of what it seems like, but hang in there and you'll see there's a reason for everything.
December 22, 200915 yr I'm aware of what it seems like, but hang in there and you'll see there's a reason for everything. Awesome, I should have actually realised this, since a lot of small details have actually become part of the overall story. Clever. Batbrick Away!
December 22, 200915 yr Author Lunch Time (Part 2): http://www.drunkduck.com/Lego_Space/?p=648294 That is a good point, though, Batbrick. I appreciate the constructive criticism amidst the praise. :)
December 22, 200915 yr Lunch Time (Part 2):http://www.drunkduck.com/Lego_Space/?p=648294 Heh, this is awesome. Ronald definately has second thoughts about work now. (Actually, he never liked it, so I suppose he's just voicing his opinions. I'm confused!) Ben Kenobi
December 22, 200915 yr Author Heh, this is awesome. Ronald definately has second thoughts about work now. (Actually, he never liked it, so I suppose he's just voicing his opinions. I'm confused!)Ben Kenobi Yeah, Ronald has lived quite the pampered life (and you'll soon get an idea why), so he doesn't take to the working life easily. He will always have to weigh his job against owning Eternia. Which, for a true toy collector, is a very tough choice.
December 23, 200915 yr I didn't even know it was possible to have a lazy revelation, but somehow Ronald has done it. Something isn't going to go over well here. For osme reason I always laugh when Mr Wobbly Droid's name is mentioned, and the lopsided hats make me chuckle oddly too. Batbrick Away!
December 23, 200915 yr Author The lopsided hats are that way for a couple of reasons. First of all, it's very difficult to balance them on a spaceman's helmet, let alone between a robot's two antennae. I have to use scotch tape and, even so, they fall off a lot as I move the characters around. I tend to photograph the hats in various stages of falling off, because I don't feel like straightening them up every time. But also, I prefer the hats move around and be lopsided, as I think it adds to the expressiveness of the characters. Or to create that illusion, anyway. :)
December 24, 200915 yr The lopsided hats are a cool detail. You can notably see the tape in the fifth panel. You can also see it in...well... most of the other panels as well
December 24, 200915 yr Author The lopsided hats are a cool detail. You can notably see the tape in the fifth panel. You can also see it in...well... most of the other panels as well Oops! I'll have to watch out for that.
December 25, 200915 yr You can notably see the tape in the fifth panel. You can also see it in...well... most of the other panels as well I didn't see anything, but then again, I wasn't realy looking for it. ~Insectoid Aristocrat

December 25, 200915 yr I've been following your comics for quite a while and have read everything so far. I think it's the only comic around of which I really look forward to seeing the next parts, everything is done very nicely and the comics have very good plots. The humor in it is nicely done aswell. So I'm looking forward to the next one! ~ General Magma P.S. In your newest comic's description I read you got the 5974 G.E., I'm planning on maybe getting it too soon (with my Christmas money) but I'm not sure. I'm not even sure IF I will spend it on LEGO, but do you recommend it?
December 25, 200915 yr Brilliant continuity porn right there! Found the original strip All Better, great callback. Of course I realise this has no possibility of ending well. Batbrick Away!
December 27, 200915 yr Of course I realise this has no possibility of ending well. Maybe this is why the Eighth Doctor regenerated... Ben Kenobi
December 29, 200915 yr Lunch Time (Part 4):http://www.drunkduck.com/Lego_Space/?p=650323 There seem to be antiques in that garage... swords, cement mixer, etc. I wonder if Ronald and Mikey's father had something to do with The Doctor and time travel.
