I like the introspective commentary with the most recent comics.  It adds a lot to Ronald.  That being said, I still kind of hate him.  When do we get back to Red and the Gemini twins?

All Hail the Thunderbird (Part 10):

Thanks for the honest comments, Ninja_Bait. I can see you're not a Ronald fan. lol After this story, I'm going to post the final act of "Back in the Black" with Valkyrie. I probably should return to the Gemini twins or Red after that, good idea.

Knowing how protective Schwartz is of his ship's reputation, it would be interesting to hear his reaction to the Jangbricks review.  Especially if you do the comic as screengrabs from the video.

That is an AWESOME idea.

"I'm not 12, I just act like it" hahaha.

I don't remember that Red Dwarf joke. Next time I go right through I'll be listening for it

I was trying to remember which episode it appeared it and couldn't easily find it. It might have been in one of the newer seasons? In any case, I think it was a quick, passing joke.

The flying chair is coming out great.  How do you set up the photos to make it look like it's flying?

Thanks! Just out of frame is my hand holding a 1x10 light gray LEGO brick, delicately attached by one peg to the bottom of the chair.

I thought it might be that simple, but it's really well hidden.  How did you manage to hide that setup in the last panel in Thunderbird 15?

Ohh, in that one I attached a piece to the chair (I'm forgetting which piece - might have been an antenna in the thruster) and wedged it into the lighthouse railing.

We're pretty low-tech over at Space: The Comic. ;-)

Since you asked, I think I prefer the comic when it's about flying through deep space in front of computer monitors, where most of the 'action' visible is drawn-on purple lasers, the focus is mainly on the Space Agency's dealings and the 'real' stars of the show are the Lego Space factions, sets & minifigs. The integral & side characters are all important and interesting of course and it's still good. I obviously pay less attention to the detail of the shot than you put work in to it, so whatever feels more satisfying to you in the storytelling & depiction.

My favorites are the ones where the characters do their actual jobs (which is why the gemini twins are my favorite characters) over the more recent personal adventures.  I do appreciate the way the comic has matured in the production value and writing.  I wonder if your recent City set purchases are what have skewed the comic away from true and pure space or if it's the other way around.

This is still my favorite LEGO comic so just keep doing what you're doing!

Thank you, both. I greatly appreciate the honest feedback. I definitely plan to return to the more typical space stuff. Ronald and Scouse occupy stranger corners of the Lego Space universe, and the comic has been focused on them for awhile. If all goes according to plan, next up we'll be paying a visit to M:Tron proper (and a certain set that's been featured before but I never owned until recently).
