Batbrick Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Oh man this is such a good arc! I was laughing at the "One heck of a woman" comment. Certainly still interested in where this is going. On a more important matter (you'll understand), how was your reaction to the Space set list KDog? Batbrick Away! Quote
Darth_Legois Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 I like this part Ronald: Who's the fox? Mr.Wobbly Droid: She does rate high on the human attractability index. President Shwartz": Yeah, She is my first lady of foxiness isn't she? Cant wait to see what happens next. Quote

Guss Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 go vanilla snowball ! Hilarous comics, I really enjoy to see every "page" of it ^^ great job Kdog Quote
Batbrick Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 Haha! That was great! Love the Vanilla Snowball bit and Valkyrie knowing she'd beat Blacktron in a fight. Also, Shwartz little confession at the end is great. Is this going to do one more comic? Looks like its almost done now that the tiny beer wanting fleet has helped. Batbrick Away! Quote
KDog Posted November 20, 2008 Author Posted November 20, 2008 Sick minds! A few people have pointed that out, and it was something I totally missed. She was supposed to be standing but must have fallen down without me realizing it. She's not crushed by the ship... or doing ANYTHING else with it. :-P Quote
zero1312 Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Why does the last panel not suprise me? Quote

KDog Posted November 23, 2008 Author Posted November 23, 2008 New comic! Although I'm not sure anybody saw the comic I posted yesterday. lol House Call (Part 8): http://www.drunkduck.com/Lego_Space/?p=488216 Quote
Batbrick Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Great new comics KDog! Sorry I missed the one yesterday. Love Shwartz talking about how everything ends up okay for him, as well as his ridiculous campaign promise realisation. The next one was very surprising! I laughed at Ice Babe and her "badass neon chainsaw" as I've oft wondered the purpose for that colour. Also loved the "sister" bits, poor Ronald. And the end, er, this could be a tricky situation Keep 'em coming! Batbrick Away! Quote
KDog Posted November 24, 2008 Author Posted November 24, 2008 Expected but still fun. You foresaw the feline transformation? :-P Quote
DJ Force Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 So did everyone! It was the most obvious thing to happen. Ever! Just kidding. I certainly didn´t see that one coming and I´m very curious about what happened to Mikey. Quote
Batbrick Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 You foresaw the feline transformation? :-P I was thinking the same thing! Seriously man, really curious as to how this happened. Also, props on bringing back Ice Babe too. Will this arc factor into the larger story or be a subplot? Or another larger story? Batbrick Away! Quote
KDog Posted November 24, 2008 Author Posted November 24, 2008 Seeing as how the idea for this arc started with me saying, "Hmm, how can I show off my Lego TARDIS?" and then developing a crazy possible future from there, I hadn't really planned for it to have an immediate impact on other storylines. It's more far-reaching. The thing about Mikey doing something bad in the future to screw up the timeline was an idea that came about in the writing of this; it will be factored in again, but I hadn't initially planned on it. But the characters you see are valid representations of themselves, just in other circumstances, because I wanted to use some characters that haven't had enough face time. You'll see more and more of the Ice Babe as times goes on. And Red, who is currently a minor character but has been meant since the beginning to be one of the important ones. I just haven't found much of a place for her, yet. Quote
Pencoin Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 You foresaw the feline transformation? :-P Nope, Ice Babe being his Sister-in-law. Quote

Just remember to wrap up some storylines before starting others, I know form my Interactive Apocalypse that it's tempting to begin before you finish. So my advice (tohugh you may not need it) is to try not to make it too much like Lost with too much overeaching plots House Call (Part 9):http://drunkduck.com/Lego_Space/index.php?p=489799 This was a great part! Love how Mikey was hitting on his brother's wife, and him actually liking the future! Can't wait for the next part, the mat and background here actually worked really well. Batbrick Away! Quote
KDog Posted November 28, 2008 Author Posted November 28, 2008 The snow is actually a white bath towel. Never leave home without one. :-) And uh oh, I'm a big LOST fan, Can't wait until Jan. 21... Quote
