Bob Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Wow! I like that idea! A profile on each person. Quote
KDog Posted December 1, 2008 Author Posted December 1, 2008 Thanks, Bob! Yeah, I've been toying with the idea of doing profiles for awhile, and then the Advent calendar idea hit and I knew it was perfect. Quote
Batbrick Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Great new strip KDog! I laughed a heap at the last part, very much in character for Ronald to be a Momma's boy, and to be afraid of her leaving! That joke was definitely the coup de gras, also liked the "You bet!" at the end. As for the profile idea, great! I'm really looking forward to this, are they going to be done in comic format? The DACTA bit introducing this was also awesome, I'm a sucker for explained 4th wall breaks and chocaltey entrails. Batbrick Away! Quote
KDog Posted December 1, 2008 Author Posted December 1, 2008 And we're off! Lego Space Advent Calendar - Dec. 1: http://www.drunkduck.com/Lego_Space/?p=491259 Quote
Batbrick Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 Haha! Love the profile job. As I suspected it is done in comic job. Continuing to love the fourth wall breaks and the whiny remarks from Verwaand. But the real chuckle came from the Breasts comment. That was gold Batbrick Away! Quote
Guss Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 excellent ! I want one of these calendar now! ^^ with the comic inside the littles boxes! Quote

KDog Posted December 3, 2008 Author Posted December 3, 2008 Hm. It´s already the 3rd here on the other half of earth I've gotta go by my time, lol. No other way this is gonna get done. Quote
Nich Artri Posted December 3, 2008 Posted December 3, 2008 Way to go KDog! Love the idea! I actually got a hold of one of those Castle Advent calendars and immediately wondered where the Space (along with other themes) was at. I guess it's not cost effective to put out more than one type of Advent calendar a year... - -; Cheers! -Nich Quote
KDog Posted December 4, 2008 Author Posted December 4, 2008 Lego Space Advent Calendar - Dec. 3: http://www.drunkduck.com/Lego_Space/?p=492545 This daily update schedule isn't going as smoothly as I had hoped, of course. I came home from work yesterday and was so tired that I fell right asleep and woke up this morning as almost my the normal time! But I'll get today's comic up when I get home. Quote
DJ Force Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Hahahaha Masoch is such a great character. Lot´s of potential for a series of his own Quote
KDog Posted December 4, 2008 Author Posted December 4, 2008 HahahahaMasoch is such a great character. Lot´s of potential for a series of his own I've got ideas. Not for a series of his own but for comics about him. Quote
zero1312 Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 I've got ideas. Not for a series of his own but for comics about him. Hmmm, how do you torture someone who enjoys pain, both psychically and physically? Quote

Batbrick Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 Missed a few! Sorry KDog! Love the recent ones, Gunbar was hilarious, for some reason I never noticed his coincidental name. Naturally I was amused by Officer Masoch, he's always a riot, the joke at the end took a while to sink in and then I was just as repulsed as DACTA was! Very interesting to see Jenny here though, wow was I happy to see this thread turn back up. Really nice to see some subtle hints but at the same time a lot kept secret. I also laughed at the end with the "Why can't I have a hot girl stalking me!" considering her head tends to turn to a skull in your dreams. Anyway thanks a heap for doing this KDog, it may be hard work but know we're really appreciating this advent calender, I think it's my favourite ever Christmas countdown. Look forward to the next one! Batbrick Away! Quote

KDog Posted December 6, 2008 Author Posted December 6, 2008 This comic is a little interlude in the calendar called "The Savage Element." Today's Advent calendar comic will go up in a few hours: http://www.drunkduck.com/Lego_Space/?p=493281 Quote
Batbrick Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Great new strips KDog. Awesome to see President Weiss get some attention. I know that gradually the focus will come to more central characters but I'm really glad that the spotlight is on others right now. I laughed at the leather too, that actually came out really well. The Savage Element is a great one-off strip too. I think my favourite part is how it is actually deteriorating with the philosophical talk changing to "Oh No! Not again!" Nice to see the Pirate Lego being used, I like it when you use non-space themes occasionally, what do you think of the new Pirates theme? Anyway, looking forward to the next one! Batbrick Away! Quote
