Batbrick Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009  As usual you manage to throw a great curveball at us KDog. Man that was great, Valkyrie sure is cruel sometimes. And of course Shwartz loves it, though I just hope M-1 feeds him, four days is a long time Looking forward to the next one! Batbrick Away! Quote

Batbrick Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Haha, you really are channeling Legion of Doom here aren't you? Is that the official Alpha Team set or is it a bit different? Gotta feel sorry for Shwartz though, is there a story where he doesn't get played? Batbrick Away! Quote
KDog Posted January 31, 2009 Author Posted January 31, 2009 That's the exact Alpha Team base. My friend Dan was kind enough to give it to me instead of putting it on eBay with many of his other LEGO sets. Quote

zero1312 Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 I'm curious what Schwartz would say to that. Quote
KDog Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 Meteor Madness II (Part 11): http://www.drunkduck.com/Lego_Space/?p=515282 DACTA base? *whistles* I'll complete it by when I need to show it. :) Quote
KDog Posted February 3, 2009 Author Posted February 3, 2009 Yeah, you never know where and when Shortie will show up. :-D Quote
DJ Force Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Geez, I love those random Cameos! Makes for the most hilarious situations Quote
Batbrick Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Yay Short Round! That was such a surprise, once again Shwartz really bad run of terrible luck is shown. I got that set the other day actually, awesome to see you did too. Keep up the random cameos! Batbrick Away! Quote

Batbrick Posted February 5, 2009 Posted February 5, 2009 Yes! Huey Lewis cameo! You've really hit a home run with all these cameos Loved Shwartz' consistent lying too, as well as his robot being slightly more loyal than Galanos'. His escape is taking longer than expected too, I count three hosings so far Batbrick Away! Quote
SeaKing61 Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 Great comic, KDog. I discovered it in late December after I joined EB and immediately read the whole thing. I've been following it pretty closely ever since. I really enjoy all the different characters, though I still ahve to refer to the Advent Calendar comics sometimes to remind myself. Thanks and keep up the great work Laurie Quote
KDog Posted February 7, 2009 Author Posted February 7, 2009 Thanks for reading and commenting, Laurie! Yeah, I made the Advent calendar pretty much for that reason, even so I can keep everyone straight. I still forget which Gemini twin is Lance and which is Vance. :-) Quote

KDog Posted February 7, 2009 Author Posted February 7, 2009 G.I. Scouse (Part 1): http://www.drunkduck.com/Lego_Space/?p=517988 Quote
Batbrick Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 I knew it! Friendlich was there! Given that it was said that it would take four days for the ice cream to come in, I feel sorry for Shwartz being there that long And I have no idea what's going on with Scouse, but it sure is entertaining. I'm assuming he's still under alien clutches. Great stuff so far and a nice idea for an interlude. Looking forward to the next one! Batbrick Away! Quote
zero1312 Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 That presents a problem for Valkyrie. And poor Scouse, probably the most random wakeup in history. Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 lol, I these comics. just found out abut them and want to make my own. Totaly ausome   Quote

Batbrick Posted February 13, 2009 Posted February 13, 2009 Don't know where KDog is right now, but here is G.I. Scouse part 2: http://www.drunkduck.com/Lego_Space/index.php?p=518068 Now this was hilariously true. gotta say KDog, I agree with everything you're saying here, I'm getting sick of Hollywood shortchanging anything unique about our beloved franchise into "GRITTY!" and "Realistic!". The best part is where Scouse realises how he's played the part "too well". Batbrick Away! Quote
