Batbrick Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Very astute. Ronald is more me than I'd like to admit! He was created to be like us, like it or not. :-D I find myself wanting to bump him up to main cast member. I think he's an even bigger slacker than Schwartz, who's more of a functional slacker. It's funny, because I did not like him at all at first, but he's grown on me immensely since then. The fact that he does GI Joe,Transformers AND Doctor Who together is just hilarious I guess as you say, the only problem with bumping him up to a main cast member is that he's such a slacker, it'd be hard to get him to do stuff. Yeah, y'know, I have sudden ideas, I run with 'em. Good instinct, though one must feel sorry for Scouse right now And Friendlich's not out of the chase yet! Gotta feel sorry for him too. Also, I think that Meteor Madness ice cream tastes like raspberry and chocolate mixed together, with maybe a bit of lemon too. Batbrick Away! Quote
Nich Artri Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 (edited) Great job, once again KDog! Love Valkyrie's alliteration! Cursed cop indeed! On a side note, I was thinking the other day; now that we have Space Police III on the way, have you been brainstorming on how to use some of the fantastic characters/ ships? Maybe it's a bit early to be asking, but, hey curiosity never hurt anyone (except a felonious feline or two). Cheers! -Nich (P.S. I think Meteor Madness would taste very troppical and would explode in your mouth like pop rocks) Edited March 6, 2009 by Nich Artri Quote
Scouty Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 Very nice. Great story arc. I think Meteor Madness Icecream would taste like a kind of like very small ice crystals, light-ish blue with a little flavor of lime or something. Quote

Batbrick Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Oh dear Friendlich, when will you learn? Interesting to see what Valkyrie has up her sleeve, whatever it is, it can't be good Also, the space action worked a lot better this time! Batbrick Away! Quote

Batbrick Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 This should be interesting. I especially loved the "Next stop in 30 seconds!" line, that had me laughing. By the way KDog, do you have the Alpha Command Base? Pardon my ignorance, but I can't tell if the main base is the classic one or a space police one. Batbrick Away! Quote
KDog Posted March 16, 2009 Author Posted March 16, 2009 By the way KDog, do you have the Alpha Command Base? Pardon my ignorance, but I can't tell if the main base is the classic one or a space police one.Batbrick Away! While I called it Alpha Command, it's actually the Alpha-1 Rocket Base. And no, I don't have it. The cool thing about the Alpha and Beta bases is that each comes with a "viewscreen" that shows what's going on at the other base. The Intergalactic Command Base I have is Classic Space, but it came out after the other two (and is larger). I do have the Space Police base, but haven't used it frequently. I'll have to rectify that! Quote

Or is it too expensive at this point? Also, how is that DACTA Base coming? Batbrick Away! Quote
KDog Posted March 18, 2009 Author Posted March 18, 2009 Ah, thanks for that clarification. Do you plan on getting the Alpha Base? Or is it too expensive at this point? Also, how is that DACTA Base coming? Batbrick Away! The DACTA story is still in my brain but won't happen for awhile - I've got several other stories to tell first. And the 200th strip is coming up fairly soon, and I still gotta figure out something special to do for it. I'll work on the base closer to when I need it. I'm a little out of space for completed models right now. I don't see my self purchasing the Alpha-I Rocket Base in the near future. It's a cool base, but has never been one of my most desired. My main reason to get it would be that it goes with the Beta-I Command Base. And my LEGO funds are being saved for Space Police 3. Anyway, I do expect that there will be two more comics this week. Perhaps even one tonight. As long as I get get it done around my viewing of tonight's new episode of LOST. Nothing is allowed to disturb me during that! NOTHING!!! :-D Quote

MarcusV3 Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 Great comic. I just read through the whole thing today ;D It was great! I think Valkyrie should taste the ice cream and shout "Blech! This is disgusting" Haha if only she didn't say it was her favorite ice cream before :P Any way great job can't wait for the next one Quote
