DJ Force Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Why not? From what it looks like, he´ll get the girl AND the Meteor Madness. Quote
KDog Posted March 26, 2009 Author Posted March 26, 2009 (edited) Which torso did you use? One of the maidens from the Medieval Village set. I think the new female pirate has the same one. By the way, thanks to all the new readers for your comments! BTW, we're up to comic #179. Edited March 26, 2009 by KDog Quote
Batbrick Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 Great new comics KDog, really interested in seeing how this storyline ends. Poor Friendlich has the single worst luck in the galaxy poor guy Batbrick Away! Quote

Darth_Legois Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 (edited) Nice but your minifigs in the last comic look pretty dusty Anyways another great comic, But im guessing Shwartz will somehow screw up? Also I wonder what Meteor Maddness tastes like Can't wait for the next one! [Man I havn't commented on these in ages!] EDIT: Have you ever though of making Lego: City -The Comic or Castle or something? I think that'd be cool. Edited March 28, 2009 by Darth_Legois Quote
Aliencat Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 Aww real love :D Great addition KDog, can't wait for the next one! Quote
Batbrick Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 ROFL at the ice cream stand-in! And that was sweet, a fitting end I say! If it is the end, perhaps Friendlich has attached a beacon to her ship! DUM DUM DUM! Great comic as always KDog, and you've got a lot more readers now too, you must be doing something right! Batbrick Away! Quote
KDog Posted March 30, 2009 Author Posted March 30, 2009 There's actually two more comics in Meteor Madness II. One will likely be up tonight or tomorrow, but the last one will actually be postponed awhile since I didn't get a chance to take photos of a specific set that I have at my Dad's place like I expected to this weekend. But it's no big deal, since it's more of an epilogue and nothing will be left hanging (like Schwartz was from the rafters, last time). In the meantime, I'm gonna run a flashback story I've been planning. It's awesome that new (and old) readers are offering kind words. Unfortunately, I'm still struggling with doing three comics a week like I did for the first year and seem to have fallen into two comics per week more often. I'm hoping that I've solved some photography issues that were taking up a lot of time. Quote

Don't get worried about not being able to update as constantly with your comics as you'd like to, I think the most necessary thing is really to od them right, regardless of how long it takes Batbrick Away! Aliencat Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Exactly, you still make 2 comics a week, I make 0 comics a week, so I'll be the last to complain ;) Just keep 'm coming, however long they take to make, we'll be here. Quote
Nich Artri Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 Muwahahaha! Yes! XD The latest comic really tickled me... 'nuf said. Cheers! -Nich Quote

Batbrick Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Awesomesauce comic strip as always KDog, I gotta feel sorry for Valkyrie's position here, she's always in trouble but this is quite heavy! Really interested in seeing where this goes. I also loved Shwart'z trip: The colour lemon yellow indeed Also, awesome cameos here! I spot Red, Raven (*checks* Oh, its Marion, very original there ) and the ever mysterious Jenny! great work ther, I hope to see more cameos in the future! Thanks a heap for the length of this too! Batbrick Away! Quote
Aliencat Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 Woo! :D Cool stuff as usual, and a pretty lengthy one this, excellent! Quote

Bob Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 They pop up in the weirdest places... Good comic, I'm a big fan! Quote
Batbrick Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Yes! Finally Red gets in! Loving trhe story so far KDog, I'm glad that despite a lsower schedule you seem to be treating us with longer comics that also have double the thought, so thanks. Red is a character I instantly find myself liking, especially since she represents that side we all have within us, one that simply can't bring us to motivate ourselves in a job or life we can't care about. And Lance and Vance popping up at the end is an awesome surprise! As always they make everything better. As always, looking forward to the next part! Batbrick Away! Quote

Batbrick Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Nice new comic KDog, I think I can see Red's stake in this, or maybe not, you've surprised me in the past before. Liking Red as a character so far though, so keep up the good work! Batbrick Away! Quote
