Awesome updates KDog, I really like Red as a character already. The most recent part especially is quite funny, with "Interstellarbucls" and a fat commander. And of course the twins are great as always.

I noticed you commented about your camera giving washed-out looking photos, and they do look a tad off. I hope you can resolve that.

It's hard for me to get the lighting right, especially for scenes where I need to show a whole starbase and can't use the computer as a backdrop. The incandescent lamps I have either aren't bright enough at times or are too bright and make everything a washed-out yellow. When it comes down to it, the lighting at my father's house (where many of the first 100 and something comics were shot) just is better than what I have at my apartment.

The camera I used to use (which was my father's) seemed to take better pictures than my camera, also, although my camera is just the next version of his camera. I'll have to check the settings on his camera to see if that'll help.

I'm going to keep working on improving the situation as I go along, but I'd rather post comics with some pix I'm slightly unhappy with than post no comics at all.

Put paper over those lights to diffuse them. I do it when filming LEGO sets and it gives a nice even lighting.

Btw, this arc is very interesting and enjoyable!!

Thanks, ImperialScouts! I use two different lamps at the apartment - a large, tall standing lamp with 5 different lights, and a desk lamp. I would worry that placing paper over them might cause a fire, as they do get really hot. It can take me a few hours per photo session, sometimes.

I use hot lamps too, and I never had any problems of paper burning. I've even put them up to 500 watt lights and they didn't crisp :classic: Not that keeping a fire extinguisher close by is a bad idea

Poor Red, though I'm betting she'll be seing them sooner than she thinks. Or not, I'm not sure how time passes in this comic, it's probably been a week since the 100th one!

I remember when Schwarz got his first date with Valkyrie, 4 months went by until it was Thursday night at last ;)

So I'm guessing time isn't too relevant here, hehe

Edit: Not meant to rush you or anything KDog, you can take your sweet time if that means keeping up the great quality of these comics :)

Meteor Madness II (Part 23):

http://www.drunkduck.com/Lego_Space/?p=552434

You guys are truly the best, most understanding readers a guy could have!

As for the timeline, keep in mind that "Retro Red" took place a few years in the past, hence the Gemini twins having their previous ship and the Classic uniforms instead of Futuron spacesuits. They will meet again, but likely not until the current timeline of the comic.

As for the progression of time, it was a week between Schwartz and Valkyrie's first and second date, and the second date lasted several days (as Schwartz was imprisoned most of that time). The only other thing that we saw happen during that time was Scouse's wacky adventures, which weren't exactly in normal time, or even the normal universe! That's as much as I've kept track of it. :classic:

Yay! The finale! I liked that you gave the story one final resolution. I laughed at Galanos' last comment. Nice job on the pictures here too, they seem much better again.

Ah yes, I had forgotten that Red's story was in the past because of the Twin's ship, so I guess my prediction was doomed before I even typed it!

Looking forward to the next part!

Thanks for posting the link, Batbrick!

I was simply too tired after I posted the comic last night to be bothered!

Haha, shameless creation plug!

Seriously, I had forgotten about that ship, but remembered it when I saw it here again. The Commander is roughly the same age as Shwartz and Galanos isn't he? I seem to remember him going through training with them, or perhaps that was Amarillo. Either way the ladies comment was great.

Looking forward to the next one, is this just a one-shot?

The President was an instructor at the Academy and taught (and is close with) Schwartz, Galanos, Amarillo and Red. The ladies comment was exactly what Schwartz said about the ship when they picked it out.

There's one more part to this comic.

I don't make many creations, but I like to plug the ones I do. :-D

Hahaha! Of course, another shameless promotion, I approve. After all, I can't wait to get the torso myself in the Agents Robo Attack set. Looking forward ot the next one!

Hahaha! Great new one KDog, I especially love the injokes like the Laurence Welk show and Shwartz' newfound enjoyment of it, and the mimicking of the President's shirt plug. I'm betting the spook story makes a comeback here, I'm looking forward to it.
