Ricecracker Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 Great job! But I think you meant to link to here . Quote
KDog Posted June 4, 2009 Author Posted June 4, 2009 Whoa, that was weird. Fixed the link. Thanks, Ricecracker! Quote
Batbrick Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Nice, an extra length one! I love Shatner's melodramatic poses here, and I did get a giggle out of the species being here "as long as they can remember...thirty eight days" Looking forward to the next part of course, and very neat list of the thirty best Lego figs too, I agree with most of them except for the UFO figs, which I actually do love as they were my first space sets, but I don't think they quite deserve to be on the list. Batbrick Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 Best part of this story yet KDog, I really, really enjoyed that twist, took me by surprise, despite the clever clues you planted earlier. Very neat shot of the Thunder Drill erupting from the wall too. I would've thought two baseplates would look pretty mediocre, but you managed to shoot it at an angle that is really effective and looks great. And really, really looking forward to the 200th comic! Batbrick Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 Haha, excellent use of continuity there, was that planned? Either way I love it, Shwartz for once finally makes a decent decision Also, I think if rock Raiders managed to engineer life from rocks they've set their goals with such talents a wee bit low! Really looking forward to the 201st 200th comic! Batbrick Away! Quote

Batbrick Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 Hahaha! Definitely got a lot of classic Star Trek vibes from this, except a bit morbidly twisted of course, poor Power Miners Looking forward to the increasingly inaccurately named 200th comic! Batbrick Away! Quote
PMJ Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Uugh. I am still a huge critic of Power Miners. I still think RR was way, ultimately and completely 100% better. RR FTW! Quote
KDog Posted June 17, 2009 Author Posted June 17, 2009 Uugh. I am still a huge critic of Power Miners. I still think RR was way, ultimately and completely 100% better. RR FTW! Well, at least they both kinda got screwed over in this story. ;-) Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Uugh. I am still a huge critic of Power Miners. I still think RR was way, ultimately and completely 100% better. RR FTW! I am too. RR was and may always be my favorate theme! Quote
Hewman Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Satan in the Shadows (Part 8):http://www.drunkduck.com/Lego_Space/index.php?p=568313 This is the first time I"ve looked at your comic and I"m impressed. I love the subtlety in movement of the minifigs, and what nerd can't either laugh or smile whenever they see anything about Shatner! Quote
KDog Posted June 22, 2009 Author Posted June 22, 2009 FYI: My laptop is down at the moment while I await a new power cord, which I hope will arrive this week. Until then, comics are on hold. :-/ Quote
Batbrick Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Oh darn. Hope you can get that under control soon then. What's next, the 200th comic? Batbrick Away! Quote
Dannylonglegs Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 FYI: My laptop is down at the moment while I await a new power cord, which I hope will arrive this week. Until then, comics are on hold. :-/ oh i'm sad. Quote
Batbrick Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 So I'm guessing the power cord hasn't arrived yet? Sorry, just checking because I'm getting withdrawal symptoms from not reading this comic Hopefully it will be up soon! To the Batbrickmobile! Quote
KDog Posted July 5, 2009 Author Posted July 5, 2009 Thanks for letting me know you miss it, guys! :-) The power cord I ordered a few weeks ago never arrived. :-/ Turns out, I was never even charged for it, so I don't know what happened there. So, I ordered one from a different place last week, and received a tracking number, so that should be here this week. Although I still have to shoot more photos (which I need my laptop for, also), I do have pix so I can at least post one new comic as soon as things are back up and running. Quote
KDog Posted July 8, 2009 Author Posted July 8, 2009 yeah he has returned!!!! Well, not quite yet, but soon. :-) Quote
