I hoped thought you'd be back!

Great little tie-in comic there, I had forgotten you included The Doctor as a part of oyur universe. I'm guessing then that Ronald's story is not over in terms of that arc then?

Favourite line: "You didn't...yet!", sounds a lot like Minority Report, where the cops would arrest someone for "committing a crime in the future!"

Whew, I feared the worst. :classic:

Don't scare us like that again anytime soon.

I'd say you're safe at least until April 1st. ;-)

Yay Red is back! Good to see a female character other than Sun to get some attention, espeically since Ice Babe is being kept in cold storage, budum tish! Sorry, I couldn't resist

Like that you've actually given her red hair, neat touch there, good use of that hairpiece. I love the robot's ramblings too, it is adorable. An Galanos is bald, I had forgotten about that, I'm guessing he just shaves it in-universe? Why is there to a story dedicated to his baldness already?

I really should deal with his baldness. Basically, he's one of those guys who got bum luck and started losing his hair at an early age, so he just shaves his head.

Churchill is the same robot seen in the third ever Lego Space comic.

And the Ice Queen will turn up VERY soon. Good cold storage joke, btw. :-D

And here's a funny story. I for some reason got it in my head that Magnetica doesn't talk, and that's how she was presented in the Smurfs storyline. But then I went back and read her last storyline, the one with the Transformers, and saw that she can indeed speak. And I prefer her talking! Argghh! I'll have to somehow explain her recent silence.

I thought I had seen Churchill before. From memory, he's the one that stated Amarillo went unconscious right?

And it wasn't a good joke, but thanks anyway

Hah, I never caught onto that, just pull a "oh, you're voice system malfunctioned!" Personal continuity can be a female canine I know, I'm currently working on something myself.

Although I've just joined, I've been reading your comic for quite a while now KDog (I've been lurking this forums for months, ). And its great! I check this thread every few days waiting for a new comic.

This one was pretty funny, nice to see you're back on track. The smurfs saga was getting old.

Oh, and I have that same chicken egg beater

Ha, my first post on this forum was about egg beaters.

Hi KDog, I own a lot of Classic Space, Futron, Blacktron 2, M:Tron, Space Police, and so on. I started re-assembling some of these sets. Your comic stories are really funny and sure bring back a lot of memories.

Just started reading from the beginning -- this is great! Reminds me of all the adventures my friends and I had with our Lego characters.

Something that I should add to my previous comment:

I know, Kdog, that you have not been writing the latest comics, but I cannot follow them in the slightest. Whoever has taken over should be sacked, beaten with a frozen cod, tossed in a bag, and thrown in the river. These are awful. Don't end the comic this way.

Uh oh, Capt. Redblade, it looks like Tim saw your comments, took umbrage and responded in Achievement Wh0rz! In the comments, he even compared you to Garfield the Cat! http://www.drunkduck.com/Achievement_Wh0rz...ex.php?p=636570

BWAHAHAHAHA!

Seriously, that is the best comeuppance I've seen in a looooong time! I really must start reading this comic, especially since you recommend it.

Love the newest comic btw, the bald thing came off as forced but was too hilarious for me to care about, and I did a massive double-take on the dream thing before cracking up.

And Ice Babe! Sooner than I thought too!

Heh, like the ending to this one, quite bittersweet for you actually KDog. Ice Babe's joke made me chuckle, as did the Robot's choice. I may be reading between panels here, but I think there was a message in there somewhere...

Haha!

Does the Ice Babe (Priscilla) have a last name? I remember one of the Ice Planet officers on Krysto referred to her as "Commander" but no other name was given.

I haven't given her a last name. Good point! Okay, I'll challenge myself and give her one the next time she appears!

Noooo! Date Night is delayed again! :cry_sad:

Still, I like this one. I did laugh at Amarillo's mini-monologue, it was just like a 50's superhero comic where the characters would always announce what they were doing as they were doing it

And it looks like the well-spoken dragons are back to wage war on the Knights of Awesome! (best knight title ever by the by)

Was it ever established if Captain Amarillo's crash earlier in the series was caused by a UFO, or was it Commander Schwartz buzzing him in the Gamma V? The DACTA report and Schwartz's comments seemed ambiguous. I keep thinking it is related to the 918 for some reason.

Amarillo thought he had encountered the Gamma-V at first (which was more of a joke for the purposes of that comic, anyway), but then he saw UFOs and was shot down. Maybe I haven't made it clear, but I will in an upcoming storyline about Amarillo and the UFOs.

As for Date Night, I do plan to wrap it up by the end of the year. I've been in the mood lately to tell a few shorter tales starring characters that I feel I haven't done enough with: Scouse, Magnetica, Galanos, Ronald and Mr. Wobbly Droid, the Ice Queen, Red, Churchill, Amarillo, the Shakespearean Dragons, and the Spadowskis. There are other characters that haven't appeared much lately (the Gemini Twins and Captain Dash, for example), but I haven't forgotten them.

Batbrick, I'm glad Captain Amarillo's dialogue reminded you of a 1950's comic book character. The basic inspiration for Amarillo was Kenneth Arnold, the pilot whose sighting of UFOs in 1947 sparked the whole flying saucer phenomenon. I liked the idea of a well-respected, well-spoken pilot who talks honestly and plainly about what he saw, and added in the idea of Amarillo being a classic, straight-jawed hero.

Thanks for clarifying! Commander Schwartz is so crazy that I thought it was possible that Amarillo really was buzzed by the Gamma-V, haha!
