Batbrick Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Yeah, I was being recorded over the phone and I ended up sounding like Dark OverLord or something. Very much appropriate given the subject matter though. I've also noticed that while you're still using the laptop background, which can occasionally work against you, the Loch Ness background of this story accompanies quite well. Batbrick Away! Quote

Batbrick Away! I thought the Loch Ness background worked out well, too. Which backgrounds do you think haven't worked as well? And why? I just ask so perhaps I can improve it. I know that sometimes the computer backgrounds can look really blue and washed out, and I'm sometimes too lazy to fix them. Quote
KDog Posted April 13, 2010 Author Posted April 13, 2010 KDog, I'll admit I was more than a little sceptical when I found out about your comic, but I had time to kill this morning it's now sometime in the afternoon, time has flown. Great comic you have! Chuckled more than a few times. Can't wait to get home and read the rest tonight. That's great to hear. If it's the kind of comic that can suck you into reading it for hours on end, I'm doing my job. :) Quote

Updike Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Y'now, I realy realy liked your strips, but for some reason I got quite lost and confused, and it realy did upset me. I think you should stick to short, snappy episodes, not 28 part epics, so that it's easyer to follow. Other than that I have realy loved reading it, and realy enjoy your take on the Space universe, just try to add more (Space police 3 prehaps) Quote
KDog Posted April 17, 2010 Author Posted April 17, 2010 I want to find a balance. I do want to tell longer stories, which are harder to do in a few pages each. And taking photos takes a lot of time, so I try to make them last. I do think I'll try to stop breaking up stories like I did with Date Night. Quote
Batbrick Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 I'll update better later and reply to you soon KDog, but just posting to say I've read the recent ones and they're fantastic! Batbrick Away! Quote
Sonic Screwdriver Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 I enjoy both the long and short stories. Bottom line for me is that a story should have as many parts as necessary to tell it well. Quote
