Bring out your Dead part 2 and 3: Luscious is nuts! Interesting twist, though I was hoping for an expansion on the major arc. That said, I don't know if this story is over, isn't Meteor Madness the rare flavour that Shwartz and Valkyrie love?

Now, I don't like to sugarcoat everything, so I'll list my criticisms. When reading a long sentence you often sound as if running out of breath by the end, which is more than likely. Also, some of the accents would occasionally falter, and the audiobook probably sounds a little too manner of fact for some of the content, which makes it a little jarring when your voice changes to a more excited tone. A slightly more casual voiceover (that is, still matter-of-fact, just not so overtly) might sound better. Also, I think the description of the UV-9 went a bit long. My problem isn't really the length however, just that it was all in one chunk, I think a description sprinkled over such as when the ship is referred to during the search could make it more natural.

The points are actually very helpful, and things I'll keep in mind when I record the next audiobook. Thanks!

I see that your statement about Ronald not returning in a while was entirely false :p But I'll let is slide, because though I thought I was going to be "Ronalded Out" this was great.

It was true when I said it. I just tend to come up with ideas last minute and go with them.

so... KDog... we meet again.

Good to see you here, too, Randal! Your comic is awesome!

This story is just getting started. I think you'll like where it's going.

Meteor Madness is the rare ice cream that Schwartz and Valkyrie love. Officer Romero just happened to stop by when it was in. Ironically, he was really after Meteor Meltdown, the flavor Schwartz likes far less and was once offered by mistake instead of Meteor Madness.

And Luscious made her first appearance way back, in a story with the twins. Not sure if you remember her.

I saw that one coming a mile ago......

But I bet you'll be surprised when the mimes show up!

Wait... D'OH!

I doubt Officer Romero feels the same way. ;-)

Oddly, Romero does not seem panicked or even distressed. He is also almost on the 6 o'clock of the 918... he could shoot it to "pieces"

Does the general public know that Dash and the 918 are potentially dangerous? The DACTA reports didn't seem to indicate this, and the Space Agency seems to be keeping things under wraps. I just wonder if the Space Police are aware that the Agency wants Dash captured.

Maybe I never made it clear, but it's being kept hush-hush by higher-ups ion the Space Agency. Romero doesn't know about it, as will be clear in the next comic.

Creepy...

Another question concerning the Space Police -- how are they related to the Space Agency? I recall that the Space Police filed a complaint with the Space Agency when the Gemini twins electro-netted Officer Freundlich's ship. It seems like they are independent of the Agency.

My intent is that the Space Police are an independently operating branch of the Space Agency.

No problem, glad to help.

I think your comic benefits a lot from that anyway :classic:

Yeah I remember that, she made comments about the possibilities of twins didn't she? ;)

Anyway, as you suspected, I love where this story is going. I can definitely see things take a darker turn in part 4, somewhat reminiscent of that other nightmare inducing part with the dead man *shudders*

I love the use of that picture you sit the ships on, in some shots I don't even notice its their unless looking for it. And the *THUNK THUNK* of doom is never a good sound.

Hmmm, I wonder if "EVIVRUSSUFOENON" has any significance outside of being scary. Very much looking forward to the next one, more so than usual. That said, I think the way the cockpit opens and shuts kills a lot of the mood in some bits. Take the latest part where it starts closed, is then open again, then closed, then open for the rest of the comic. For inside shots I understand its a bit of a necessity, but a lot of these shots are wide ones.

Read it backwards.

As for the cockpit, it's really intended to be closed, but I open it so you can see the pilot. I probably should have just used all open or all closed.

I like "open" for the close up shots, and "closed" for further away. Close up shots I think people would want to see the pilot... further away shots that include multiple ships, I think "closed" is more realistic.
