I think Weiss is older than Swartchz and Valkyrie (sp?). I think it is likely Weiss already had children in the original timeline and scretching things to my convenience, I think the timeline is 30 years into the future.

I'd like to say that Jenny's rather amusing punishments given out will come back to bite her, but as mentioned I'm too amused to jinx it. Feel sorry for Weiss though (Grandfather), his grandson turned out to be a grade A douche.

According to the 43 page pdf of leaked pics from a Dutch/Belgian catalogue that I haven't seen or downloaded ever in my life not even including right now as I type, it looks like for minifig series 3 there's going to be another new version of Squidman, and a space pirate (with a pegleg and claw hand).

Some more new characters (like this comic is lacking in that area) for you... At least there was a break in release of new space oriented figs from midyear until now.

And I completely forgot about UFO! This story is just too epic...

Is that what they count like in the future?

I wonder what that thing's gonna do - slam the space police ship to small pieces and bits, or perhaps something else? We'll see..

That's the second half of the access code for the forceshield.

A question about part 18 - is Capt. Weiss' question about the "weather experiment" a reference to the movie 'Back to the Future'?

Indeeed it is! You get a cookie!

My guess for the effect used for the vortex is one of those spinning tie-dye machines that you splatter paint on.

love it. Poor Tannen. Did you use an actual time-space vortex? Is Officer Tannen one of the BTTF Tannens too?

Along similar lines, I was thinking that the vortex was a clay pot spinning on a pottery wheel. It's the earthy tones of the colors that made me think of this.
