Sonic Screwdriver Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 Ah, the Strategic Pursuer mech Can't wait to see the next one Quote
Artanis I Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 That was the first Lego set I actually owned & had a minifig. (It is SO yellowed now!) Futuron was so... futuristic... Quote

KDog Posted January 14, 2011 Author Posted January 14, 2011 Oops, site's now down for a couple of days for server migration. *sigh* This always seems to happen within minutes of me posting a new comic. I'm actually in the early stages of creating my own site, but it'll be awhile before it's ready. Quote
Sonic Screwdriver Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 (edited) I was actually able to read part 13 before the server went offline, but I didn't want to say anything before more people had the chance to read it! I won't comment on what happened until the page goes back up! One thing that I think might convey the motion/action of the scenes more clearly is drawn arcs or something similar showing the motion of the robots/monkeys limbs. zero1312 Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 (edited) A well done action sequence... And when Verwaand is changed to normal, he'll probably never hear the end of this. Edited January 21, 2011 by zero1312 Quote
Sonic Screwdriver Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 That was great! Lots of fighting and shooting, just what I wanted to see I just wonder what happens to Verwaand now. We know from the Doctor Who episodes that Verwaand will somehow be restored to human form, but how? That kind of is a problem w' the Doctor Who episodes. We know that many of the characters will be OK by the time Schwartz becomes President in the Future, so it does take a bit of the dramatic danger out of scenes, knowing that they won't be killed. Of course, The Doctor has said that time is not a fixed sequence of events, but a "timey wimey wibbly wobbly" sort of stuff, so maybe the Future as we've it can from the episode "House Call" still be altered. KDog Posted January 23, 2011 Author Posted January 23, 2011 My intent is that the future is in flux, although I'm not sure how clear I've made that in the comic itself. Quote

Artanis I Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Haha... Ah, the beast (battrax)! For such a huge cockpit it's bizarre that only 1 minifig fits in it. I moved some of the pieces around in mine so it could seat 2. Quote
Capt. Redblade Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 (edited) Oh, well, I CERTAINLY HOPE THE SPACE MONKEY DOESN'T LEARN HOW TO PILOT THE SHIP AND RETURN ANY TIME SOON! If you get my meaning, KDog... All in all, a magnificent arc, sir! I always thoroughly enjoy seeing Valkyrie in action. Edited January 25, 2011 by Capt. Redblade Quote
KDog Posted January 26, 2011 Author Posted January 26, 2011 Thanks, Captain! It is true that when Valkyrie' around, the comic's action and violence level dramatically increase. :) And Artanis, it's true. It seems the Battrax should at least come with a second figure. Quote
Sonic Screwdriver Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 (edited) Nice ending Can't wait for the next one! Edited January 26, 2011 by Sonic Screwdriver Quote

Sonic Screwdriver Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 The Allied Avenger is a nice ship. Too bad for Verwaand Quote

Capt. Redblade Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 "Post-monkey stress disorder." Love it, love everything about it. Quote
Sonic Screwdriver Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 Is the monkey head a helmet piece that the lego figure wears, or is full lego head that attaches to the body? Quote
