Norro Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 The skeletons could talk in the Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl... I was wondering if that was consistent with skeletons from all over the place... Fair point :) God Bless, Nathan Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted October 25, 2005 Author Governor Posted October 25, 2005 For you see if they flung the skeleton it could yell "HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP!!!" increasing the chances of a passing ship noticing them. Quote
Norro Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 Well I finally got this set for an almost reasonable price ($24 you nosy people)...Like I figured from the pic, not much to it, some spare parts, a few more lt grey than I was expecting and the flat piece the figures are flung from is always a rare and useful addittion to my castle building parts.. I caved eventually because I get sick of looking at sets I don't heve in my old mags....Well that's about it... God Bless, Nathan Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted May 31, 2006 Author Governor Posted May 31, 2006 Mr Norro, its clarification time! Just so I don't assume the wrong thing. Is that 24 US Dollars? Where'd you procure it from, eBay? Where was the seller located? Did it come with box and/or instructions? Quote
Djole Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 I'm looking at it right now and it's SO BEAUTIFUL... This is last pirate-set which i get as a kid,and I remember that I didn't like it so much...comparing to other sets of my collection it looked me somehow poor... But now...that skeleton-construction is pretty cool, nets are always welcome, and that sail...it would be nothing special without that sail...it's perfect...for shipwreck island I think they could put one more fig... greetings from Serbia Quote
Jacob C. Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 I got mine recently for $30 (US dollars) on bricklink. It came with instructions (no box). These sets go for cheap. The orignial 1996 release price was $29.75. I love the blue cannon in this set. Are there any other sets that have a blue cannon? Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted June 20, 2006 Author Governor Posted June 20, 2006 This particular set doesn't go cheaply in my neck of the woods. Unfortunately not many of the later Pirate sets, except perhaps the Cross Bone Clipper. However, due to my dedication in dilligently watching every single Pirate LEGO auction in my area I've managed to get a Shipwrecked for around US$25 including postage. Quote
