Hey! My internet status is OK - otherwise i couldnt write here..

BUT if i want to go on Bricklink the side dont OPENS ...

Does it work at you?!

You're right, bricklink isn't working at the moment. But it's not the first time.... I'm sure they'll fix it soon. ;-)

I'm sure it will back... I will move this topic to a more appropiate section.

We have an "it's the internet, these things happen, go find something else to do for a while" section and no one told me??? ;-)

:-D No... but sometimes I think we need it. Honestly guys, sites fall over all the time. If it's dead for a week then maybe it's news, otherwise it's just life. We do have a Brickshelf topic that was used for similar issues but it was closed for some reason. I'll have to ask why... 8-| Just to clarify though, I moved the topic because it was in "Website & Forums". That section is about this website and this forum, and no others. ;-)

It's up and working now.

And I've just dioscovered that I've been left my first ever negative feedback. Probably I left the p***k justified negative feedback

Maybe something to do with this?

Unfortunately the feedback system is as much a revenge system as anything else. Given that many sellers refuse to give feedback before the buyer, it essentially means that you have no recourse. Moreover, as most sellers do far more business than buyers do, you look like the villian in the deal. Honestly, once the package has been shipped, the seller should be required to leave feedback rather than waiting for the buyer's response. Of course, this will never happen.

Personally, I only deal with the largest shops; ones with stellar reputations. I simply don't need the trouble of dealing with small businesses that lack integrity. I've never needed to give negative feedback, and fortunately I've never received it either.

After that last Brickshelf fiasco, I've been ALL Flickr, baby!

Still upload gifs and inane crap to maj though.

But for Lego... Flickr's just SO damn satisfying.

Im still having trouble getting onto bricklink. I tried all the computers in the house it still wont let me on

There seems to be a problem with comcast subscribers getting on Bricklink. Can someone update me because i cant get on bricklink

I'm having the exact same problem. I thought the site was down actually, although it let me on once a little while ago.

Guys, please, look before you post. Someone posted earlier this morning about it, and it looks to be up now. If it doesn't work in a while, then we start worrying about it... But until then, every site has a glitch every once in a while. ;-)

Thanks,

Will

I can use my cellphone but it wont allow me to view entire message so im like stuck in limbo

Yes, as mentioned above there's currently another topic about this. You can view it here. Make sure to run a search so we don't clog up the place. I'll close this.

I'm not so sure that this is the same problem as this seems to be a Comcast only issue. Comcast, and other ISPs often ban IPs for one reason or another, or try to throttle traffic that they see as a bandwidth hog. It could be a problem like that...or a DNS problem... Even so Mr. Mandalorian is right; it will be fixed eventually.

We're also not sure it's COMCAST only

Is anyone able to access it? Who else is having problems? I've noticed I haven't even gotten Bricklink Wanted item notifications for the last few days either which makes me think their system is down.

Copmike, what was in that message you linked us to?

i'm on comcast, haven't been able to get on bricklink for 2 days already

i'm on comcast, haven't been able to get on bricklink for 2 days already

I have a feeling it's not just comcast...

I have a feeling it's not just comcast...

yeah i didn't think either until the guys ^ up there mentioned something about it

I have a feeling it's not just comcast...

Which is why the COMCAST topic should have remained closed and referenced to this one as I had done but oh well :-| I guess some people can't leave well enough alone...

BL is just going through some downtime while they change servers, it's not really a big deal

Well I'm on Comcast and I haven't had any trouble getting on Bricklink at all today...

...and if I did, so what. Like I can't live without Bricklink for a few hours :-P
