Aventador2004 Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 After the happiness of getting 18th in the Wacky wheels contest, i decided to share my most recent project. If you haven't already figured it out, I love mini loaders. That is why i am now presenting my 3rd mini loader on this site. I mostly love them because i had the opportunity to drive a Cat 297c (and a bulldozer) at 13, and he said i drove it perfectly. It had a fork attachment when i drove it, so I put forks on this to honor that (I lifted part of flatbed a truck with it). skid steer, independent wheels. cockpit (seat + controls) self leveling boom (standard linkage.) place for removable attachments (more later) forks. I ended up spending 10$ on the wheels for this (+ the telehandler), and they look great. leveling linkage. Please drop a comment, and thanks for looking. Btw @Jim, if you put a rank on my profile, make it something to do with mini loaders please. Quote
MattL600 Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 Woah! It looks great, the smoothness of the modelling is great! Quote
mocbuild101 Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 Looks good, but why didn't you add a linkage to tilt the forks? Also... Quote What is the short caption under a member’s avatar? 1gor Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 Nice simple skidder, reminds me on bobcat models Smaller models can be more interesting because for bigget models there is not always space for propper engines etc... Quote

Yes, Cat and Bobcat were my inspiration. I could add differentials and engine maybe... Want me to try? Actually, scratch that, no room. Quote

Well there is always trial and erron method or as I say to my students ehen they are guessing instead of thinking blind chicken and korn method After I finish my Unimog projects I'll go back to work on JCB 526 on 13.5:1 scale. Smaller scale ended in desaster Quote
Aventador2004 Posted November 5, 2017 Author Posted November 5, 2017 Actually, like I said, there is not much room though. Quote
