MOC: Microscale TEREX DEMAG AC1000

Hi everybody, I'd like to show you my lates little MOC, the reproduction in microscale of the big mobile crane TEREX DEMAG AC 1000:

I did a little experimenting, and managed to get it to work. Right-click on the image, select 'copy image address', then paste that here instead of the URL.

It's a beautiful model, with nice colours. I especially like how the outriggers have been done, I may have to copy that for something else! How easy is it to set it up and stow it away?

Thanks, not too complex to set up, you have to pay attention due to the fact that the beam is connected just with one stud so it's not so sturdy. In 5 minutes you can easly change the form of the model

Wow, nice micro crane. It looks very good considering the limitations of such a small scale. Just looking at the counterweight it's obvious that thing is a monster! I didn't even know those cranes had the big lateral boom supports. Good work.

Hi!

This is a very accurate representation of the Demag AC1000, I love this crane, too! FOr some time, it was the biggest mobile crane in the world!

I will move this model to the Special Themes, but will leave a link!
