Mirandir Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 I've been thinking about this with slopes. It almost seems like every year it comes a new kind of slope. With a new angle and/or curve. Sure it's nice to get more angles to work with. But it's always just "straight slopes". I'd rather have more "alternatives" to work with with the slopes we already got. I mean who wouldn't like to have convex, and perhaps even concave, cheese wedge corners? Or an inverthed version of this concave corner? I don't know how many times I've hit any of thoose bumps with my MOCs. Am I the only one that longs for more slope corners? Quote
BerndDasBrot Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 (edited) Arvo works a lot with those new and "superfluous" slopes: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=127268 and IMHO he's ingenious. EDIT: if we'd get more slope corners, there's got to be a fitting corner for every slope brick until now. And that would make even more slopes. Or am I just thinking to complicated? ^^ Edited February 20, 2008 by BerndDasBrot Quote
Siegfried Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Or an inverthed version of this concave corner?Like this you mean? EDIT: Thinking harder, I think you mean something else.. and I don't think that does exist. :-D I was thinking you meant inverted as in will go inside, but I think you mean inverted as in upside down... I can't think why you would want it though. Quote
Athos Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 I'm sick of all the new slopes too. Seems like they are starting to outnumber the standard bricks and plates. Steve Quote

Hinckley Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 I agree. I love all of the new slopes. More curves, more degrees, more angles. New slopes On! Quote

I would love some of those, but I haven't any... :-/ Dp8 Edited February 21, 2008 by darthperson8 Quote
