So guys, what do you want to see as new bionicle sets in 2009? If you want post pics, MOCs, etc. I really don't have much of an interest in Bionicle, unless they blow us away next year. :-| So basicly, there's nothing I need to see.

I personally would like TLC to go back to more intricate designs like the Rahi of yesteryear. When Kardas cam out I thought it would be just a hint of things to come for Bionicle, but sadly they just kept getting more and more <insert that tiresome argument>. This is why I haven't bought a Bionicle set for 2 years.

But if they managed to make a decent enough set with a clever design, then I would probably buy it. :-)

Concerning the canister sets and small sets - yes, they are getting more junorized. However, IMO, the titans still are fairly complex, and have a good mix of regular technic and bionicle specific pieces. Look at Maxilos&Spinax, Brutaka, Nocturn, and Takanuva this year. I think they are at least on par with the first bionicle sets, in terms of design. ;-)

For me, I'd love to see some playsets employing regular sized figures and contraptions like chariots, catapaluts (not guns), and other things, all built with technic and bionicle. I think that would be a lot cooler than the mediocre playsets we got in the last three years, and it would give more variety to bionicle. :-)

I'd like playsets based on other islands, such as Destral or Odina. Perhaps even the creation of the Toa Mata.

I agree with all that you said, Grevious. For me, the Titans have always been BIONICLE's best products--although I do still get canisters sets.

I think that your idea for sets is superb. I'd like to see more sets like Karzahni, how it included three figures and a trap. This is why I like the vehicles this year, I think they're a step in the right direction. If vehicles sell well, then the next step is figure-size playsets and perhaps eventually technic-size structures!

Greg said if the vehicles sell well they'll start to make more complex sets in the future. Which would be cool.
